Beautiful Kauai

The location is lovely , the room did not look like the picture ., needs updating . Towels are terrible , we used the pool towels instead .It needs general polishing up .. faucet needs fixing in the bathroom along with this it needs a drain stop.. so things do not fall down and hurt the plumbing . The facility did fix the air condition , which was lovely .

Great location and experience

Wonderful resort location, close to the airport and easy check-in/check-out process. Four pools, two hot tubs, close to the beach and activities. We were able to do lots around the island and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coming back soon!!! Mahalo nui loa!

Best Resort on Kauai

The back area is amazing! 4 pools with waterfalls, 2 spas with waterfalls, tiki torches and cool lighting. It's such a tranquil place. After a week we came home fully restored. The restaurant is pricey but the food is good. There is also a outdoor tiki bar with drinks and ice cream for kids. The back pool area by the bar has a sandy beach and waterslide. Such a chill place.

A little gem in a tropical oasis.

This is the perfect stay for your Kauai vacation. The room was more spacious than the photos give credit too and the fridge was perfect for storing water and cold beverages. This room is clean and carefully appointed and the Outrigger property is lovingly maintained and met all of our expectations and then some. We initially thought we would miss a kitchenette but that was certainly not the case. There are an abundance of affordable dining options nearby and I had a much needed break from cooking. We will definitely stay again I should also point out that after vacationing in Kauai in the past, we adore this location. It was so close to everything we could possibly need or want and was a perfect midway point to explore all of the island. I cant recommend enough this property enough.

Wonderful Stay and great location!

My family and I stayed here and had a wonderful week! The location of the resort was perfect and the room location works perfectly with little kids heading back-and-forth between the room and the pool and the beach. We stayed this resort a couple of times years ago, and I did not disappoint. Would definitely stay here again!

Middle of island easy to reach all the island with car

Great time exploring the island with this as home base. Food options could be better but take out salads for dinner in room worked for us. nice hot tub for after long hikes a plus. Beach too windy and rough for those looking for beach scene.

Beautiful Resort

We had stayed at Outrigger before when it was called Aqua. Beautiful resort. However, the hut outside closes too early (5pm for food & 6pm for drinks). Should stay open longer because people were showing up around those times. Other than that, nice place to stay & reasonably priced.

Comfortable bed and nice shower

We had fun exploring the island of Kauai and this was a good, central point to stay in order to get to the North shore points and the South shore points within a decent time due to the slow speed of traffic on the island. We enjoyed our stay!

The room was a very nice ground flour unit close to dinning and the ice and water machine. Easy Lani access to the pools and a wonderful vibe at the resort. Loved our stay!

Gorgeous resort in lihue, little confusing.

We loved the property and the whole resort is incredible. We acknowledge we probably saved quite a bit using vrbo, but we did miss the typical hotel amenities such as towel service. There wasn't much communication on what actual resort was or how to get to the room and the property management company probably does not care because. We had to wait until 4 to check in with no communication from the property manager and the front desk lines can be long. Although the ladies behind the desk are amazing and very friendly! The resort was gorgeous, the unit and bathroom were great. Parking was a minor expense but reasonable and covered. We really just missed the communication and service as we were not actual hotel guests, which I understand because you probably save using the third party. Turning left out of property, on to the highway, can be fun in the busy morning. Mahalo.
