Surftides was a very nice hotel, good restaurant and excellent pool and hot tub. Right on the beach too! Some areas of hotel do not have elevators ...FYI...

Easy check-in, comfortable bed. Amazing ocean view. I mean, it’s an old place on the beach. Lower your expectations and enjoy! All plumbing works. Linens and bed was clean and comfortable. They brought my food from the restaurant! The coffeemaker needs smaller cups as everyone overfills and grounds are everywhere.

Our room was just okay. It seemed like it was updated recently but only cosmetically. Things like switches, outlets, the bathroom, and even room keys are outdated. One of the outlet covers was not secured and we could see a lot of dust accumulation behind it, which seemed like a fire hazard. The property uses actual metal keys still, no key cards. The hot tub and pool areas were mostly clean, except for someone's discarded bandaid. The only draws to this property are the beach view and access.

It was supposed to be an ocean facing room with a balcony and it was the ocean view one; however, you needed to go 2 levels down in a building structure. Lucky one like us were situated at the very bottom level with no balconies but with very dirty decks full of rubbish from upstairs rooms BUT you still pay a FuLL price for that "premium" room. The bed was actually quite good as well as pillow quality. Finally, the pool was filled with hyperactive kids almost untill 11 pm although it says As A RULE kids were not allowed in there after 9 pm! The bathtub drain needed some cleaning work. Overall, somewhat disappointed with the room quality and overall condition. I'd say solid 3/5 for beach front property!

Terrible, lady at the front desk was rude, there sauna was broken, are shower leaked and the space above it had a square space that was tapped closed and kept falling open, lots of other choices to stay at that where cheaper and nice that included breakfast. Was very disappointed in my stay there and won’t be staying there ever again, best part was the pool, fire pit area and that the beach was right there and you could walk down a series of steps to get to the beach. Other than that was a huge let down
