A great place to stay for a long weekend or more. The house has a lived-in feel; as if you are staying in a friendâs beach house. This dog friendly home has a few stains on the carpet and some wear and tear. The faucet in the tub dislodged when we turned it on and the dishwasher leaked when we used it. Weâre an easy going bunch so we laughed it all off. The appliances and fixtures needed a gentle touch, but the house was comfortable and it was easy to make ourselves at home. The neighborhood is nice, clean, and quiet. There are lots of people walking their dogs at all hours of the day and night, many of them are off-leash. There is a hill that blocks the view of the public walking trail, but unfortunately it also blocks the view of the Sandy beach area. Even so, you can look out at the horizon for a beautiful view of the sunset or sit on the very large back deck for a cup of coffee in the late morning sun before the wind picks up.
The laundry machine and dryer, as well as the fully stocked kitchen convinced us that this is the way we need to vacation from now on. No more cramped hotel rooms for us! We are beach house people now!
