Sylvia is so wonderful- so helpful and positive! The apartment is a fine size for one person (maybe two?). Though small, the hosts did a good job at maximizing the space. Perfect location in a beautiful neighborhood; very easy to get around from there.

A really great location very close to the tram. Just be prepared though for a small space with two flights up narrow stairs. With the addition of some cutlery, hooks on the wall and shelves in the bathroom and shower, it will suitable accomodation for a short stay.

Small Can for American-Sized Sardines

For a charming Alfama getaway for a couple of nights before my flight, I was drawn to this rental by its prime location and exceptional rating. The photos looked inviting, and was excited to be steps away from Alfama’s fantastic dining spots. However, this place is seriously small. It’s tight for one person and probably a no go for two imo. The bathroom is teeny-tiny and has a musty smell, making showers interesting. The loft bed, while a clever thought, was uncomfortable and could use more headspace. Just a nice bed on the floor would be an improvement on comfort. On the bright side, the manager was an absolute star! Super friendly, made check-in a breeze, and shared some top-notch tips for exploring Alfama’s vibrant scene. The place has classic Alfama charm, but if you’re after a bit more wiggle room, you might find better value nearby. Still, would highly recommend this place with a warning to be fully prepared mentally and physically for the tight Alfama experience.

Fantastic check in experience and an amazing location! It’s a very small place with a steep couple of flights of stairs to get up there, but the area it’s in does make up for it. Sylvia was lovely and great help for our check in and check out experiences.

Silvia was wonderful. She met us at the property and helped us check in. She made recommendations for beaches which was spot on. The property itself is small but well furnished with extras- iron, fan/ heater etc. There is a small balcony with a view of a cathedral and river. Nearby- is all you could ask for- cafés, restaurants and small grocery stores. Is within walking distance of many attractions.

Silvia provided all necessary information and lots of additional tips and recommendations about the surrounding area. The apartment was as described and comfortable. Best stay in Alfama

I stayed at 3 different rentals in the Alfama area, and this was my favorite. Very small, as all the old buildings are, but so smartly designed. I had room in the living room to set up my laptop, read and relax. The bed is in a loft accessible by a ladder, so this isn't for everyone. It was perfect for me, I felt so comfortable, and the host was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again...

Fantastic stay in the heart of Lisbon! Silvia was extremely welcoming and warm—a perfect introduction to my time in Lisbon. The apartment was clean, cozy, and centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space and the vibrant neighborhood right outside the door. Highly recommend staying here for an authentic Lisbon experience. Perfect stay for the weekend.

We are studying abroad and wanted to see Lisbon and this was a great stay! Very close to all the sites and everything was walking distance. The property manager was very accommodating and let us do a late checkout without additional fees. She answered our questions right away. Would recommend if you and your friend/couple are looking for a nice weekend getaway.
