The flat is quite comfortable, the rooms are decent size and beds are really comfortable. There are amenities nearby like - grocery shops, coffee shops and more. Central Lisbon is easily reachable via public transport or even taxi. If you are up for it then you can walk as well. There is a tram line (the famous Tram 28) just outside the property. However, during our stay the tram on this line wasn't operational due to an on-going construction work elsewhere.I have read reviews of sound or noise but we didn't experience any issues really. Please note that one of the main doors (on the ground floor) doesn't open and there is a notice on the inside on the top of the door asking not to open that particular door. So it is a slight inconvenience getting luggage through the door.The flat seems to be refurbished and has a modern feel to it. Overall we had a good stay!

This was a very large, spacious apartment in the Sao Bento neighborhood, with the iconic Tram 28 going right past it! There is a ton of closet space, the beds are super comfortable, and (once the trams stopped running for the night) it was surprisingly quiet. We discovered that we couldn't run the dishwasher and washing machine simultaneously (not a huge problem) but a bigger problem was that we were never able to figure out how to get the dryer to work on the combo washer/dryer machine. Having instructions for this would have been helpful.

perfect spot for a visit

It's a great location to experience city living. Perfect for walking around and exploring this part of the city, with restaurants, cafes, shops, and shopping nearby. Suggestions are some that others have mentioned - more towels for longer stays (even linens as there is a washer but no dryer), at least a few trash bags to start, kitchen towels and pot holders (we had to buy some as we cooked a few nights). One shower drain backed up again, but was quickly repaired, and we paid for an extra set of keys which were delivered quickly as well. I'd also suggest that the unit upstairs could perhaps have some rugs put it (we were woken up a few nights before we left with loud guests) and also the pillows should be replaced. The air con units do work - we just had to do some research on how to operate them (we found manuals for appliances in a closet). Places to try nearby - Buna, The Folks, Ceres, Oh Sweet, the market across the street, My Auchan for more groceries, restaurants on Green Street, and the best meal we had nearby was at Acaso. Obrigada!

Reasonable price and location

The rooms were nice. It was not too far from most things but not in the middle of tourists. The front room did get a lot of noise from people and the tram / trolley car. Easy check out process. Would have like extra trash bags and even towels given the length of our stay (9 days).

Comfortable apartment

We had a very nice stay other than the secondary shower was clogged and leaked onto the bathroom floor. I reported it immediately and the management company informed me they had repaired the shower and replaced towels we used to clean up. When we returned after a long day of touring we realized the work had not been done and we didn't have fresh towels. While that was disappointing, the management company did offer a % refund for the mistake. I would book again given they did make things right and this could happen anywhere. Overall we felt the apartment was very comfortable and quite.

Birthday Get Away

We loved our stay at SĂŁo Bento. The apartment is cozy and had everything we needed. During our visit it was unusually cold and wet so at times we were a little chilly in the apartment but that is to be expected. There is a little mini store across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. Between walking an Bolt rides we were able to get every where we wanted to go. We felt safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. The beds were super comfortable in both rooms and there is plenty of space for 4 adults. We would definitely book this until again.

Nous aurions pu mettre partout 5 Ă©toiles, mais Ă©tant donnĂ© qu’il s’agit d’un vieil immeuble les bruits du ou des rĂ©sidents Ă  l’étage peuvent parfois ĂȘtre dĂ©rangeants assez tard le soir. Nous comprenons la situation mais il serait peut-ĂȘtre bien de l’indiquer dans l’annonce de cet appartement. Cependant, un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able dans un appartement malgrĂ© tout agrĂ©able.Merci.

Bruyant en soirĂ©e et la fin de semaine. Pas les bruits de la rue mais de l’appartement en haut de la location. Un vieil immeuble, donc manque d’isolation. Le moindre pas s’entend et l’occupant marche vraiment du talon. Faudrait-il avertir les locataires? SĂ©jour agrĂ©able malgrĂ© l’inconvĂ©nient.Merci

Nice apartment

Large and clean apartment. Well equipped but could do with having more glasses and cloths for wiping down etc. Very comfortable beds. A little noisy in the street outside and we were woken up by the bin men early each morning. However, overall would definitely recommend.

Clean and large apartment.

The apartment was large and mainly well equipped. It was fairly convenient but of course lots of hills had to be climbed to get anywhere to see the sites., but that is normal for Lisboa. The street outside could be quite noisy at times.

Loved the location of this property, the decor, size and cleanliness. However the upstairs guests were very loud even at 4:30 am. There is not good sound proofing.

Stayed with four friends for five days

Vaguely disappointed. Positives are: Cleanliness; Good location for restaurants and groceries and walking to other sites; Good internet; Good central air conditioning Negatives: Host claimed one day of supplies provided, but we got only a small Ziploc bag with a few little bags of vinegar and salt. Very different from our previous rental in Porto where they left us not only dishwasher and laundry detergent, but a welcome bottle of wine and coffee and milk for the first morning. We only had one hand towel and one bath towel each for a five day stay. One bed was fine, but the other two single bed mattresses were covered by hot and wrinkled rubber mattress covers, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Early communication with host was fine, but we texted that some bathroom lights were out in both bathrooms upon arrival and did not get a reply. Bathrooms were modern and updated, but only had a handheld shower, which was awkward. I am sure that the location is usually quite good, but for our stay an entire cobblestone street was being demolished and rebuilt right beside us and we couldn’t open the windows for the noise and dust. Also, I would suggest installing a self closing mechanism for the front door. There’s a sign asking you to make sure it’s closed but three mornings we went down to find it had been left open by other guests in the building.
