Basic accommodations. Location is the best part. Mattress covers were very dirty, appeared to be mold patterns on the underside, but was informed it was rust stains from the metal bed. Not very impressive. They could not change the pad cover because it was the only one per mattress they had. The accommodation is small, you have to pay to rent towels if you are in a dorm room. We were a family of 4 in a bunk quadruple room. Would have been a plus to have a laundry self serve within the building. Staff was kind, but didn’t have too much information to provide in linking to tours. For the price it was too much, but the location was 10/10.

The place is convenient and staff is friendly. However we had few issues during our stay: 1. Toilet flush was continually flowing and the noise was annoying. Reported it and staff promptly fixed it the next day 2. Hot water stopped on second day of stay. Staff did put a notice at the reception and indicated it’s a city issue that will be fixed but was inconvenient for as we had a flight to catch early morning. 3. WiFi did not work at all during the entire trip cellular signal reach was poor so we had to sit in the lobby for Internet access including any car or tour booking

I came along with one of your staff wearing a "S" glasses all of my staying for totally 6 days. She's quite different from the others receptionists, always impatient, rude, poker faced and reluctant to help. All else seemed normal, acceptable and usual as a guesthouse. The location is favourable.

Hi It is me Alice who was at The Central House Lisboa Baixa- Hostel. I enjoyed my stay for the place is safe for travellers, rooms clean with bathrooms well maintained, the staff very helpfull in providing information on how to get around plus tour guides. I also liked the Buffet breakfast. I commend the staff for doing an outstanding service that included guidance to hook guests to the Wifi connection.
