Very rustic. If looking for camp experience, this is nice! Didnât like that close to road, however not heavily traveled , so doable. Loved sitting by the fire close to the brook and coffee and a good book there makes for a lovely morning! .The pics on site are older for sure. Lots of neat places to visit/hike! Waterfalls / state parks close by and worth the trip!
We were very disappointed with the cabin. We actually left one night early even though we paid. The cabin was very dark, outdated and smelled very musty . The shower felt like it was gonna fall apart and there was a hole in the bathroom floor. I thought it was strange that we had to strip the bed and fold the comforter which told us it doesnât get washed. We expected more considering the price we paid.
The cabin and serene setting were wonderful. We loved the babbling brook, the fireplace and outdoor fire pit, the lack of television, and the precious find of the guestbook. Reading the entries of the guests that stayed before us was both endearing and inspiring. Wonderful time! Thank you Rustic Cabins!
It was the perfect getaway to block out the world, to slow it down for a moment in time. The fire pit along the babbling brook surrounded by Adirondack chairs, and a small table was a very welcomed ambiance as I watched the smoke from the fire pit roll on up with the breezes down the brook. I thoroughly enjoyed dipping and wiggling my toes in the water. It was cooling and refreshing. The amenities were straightforward and humble. No fuss, common sense of environment. Well done!
This cabin was super clean and easy to find! Super cute and a perfect spot for a vacation in the mountains. The location is close to walmart, shaws, a cute market and restaurants (loved Polly's and The Hungry Bear). The moutains afound the area and amount of trails and parks was beyond amazing. Definitely recommend this location!
Perfect accommodations for my husband and I to take a break from the hustle and bustle.Close to good food and shops, beautiful surroundings. Property managers communicated frequently to ensure we had everything we needed.
Clean and cozy cabins not too far from amenities. They come stocked with just about everything youâll need already which is nice. Would definitely stay here again.
Rustic cabins are exactly what you get. Simple beautiful cabin with just what you need and not a lot of fluff. Property is beautiful and very close to Franconia Notch State Park. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
The site of the cabins was lovely. We enjoyed the fire pit and the brook/forest. Really pretty site. The bed was comfortable and it looks like they had recently switched out the toilet and sink. The bed was comfortable.
Overall the property is somewhere between camping and a romantic getaway. For the money, I would camp next time, personally. There is old carpet in the cabin which feels dirty. Our cabin had two arm chairs by the fireplace (not Adirondacks) that were absolutely filthy - one even had a burn hole. I didn't want to sit in them at all. The shower had exposed plumbing. It was extremely dark in the cabin even with all the lights on. I thought the pictures were showing soft lighting in the listing but it really is that dark. No coffee or dish sponge were provided. Most of the curtains are sheer so while no one walked by our cabin (that I saw) if they had they could have seen in.
Overall I thought it was pricey for what it was. The "rustic" is in most cases literal, so although there were some nice features, I would keep that in mind when booking.
The wife and I wanted a cabin to rent for a couple days and we stumbled on these cabins. We love it and weâre already planning our next trip back in a month or two we had cabin number one
