This clean, fully airconditioned, and absolute waterfront, fully equipped home is ALL YOURS! It is designed for 2 families on holiday, fishing mates, kayaking buddies or just a romantic weekend away for 2 on the majestic Hawkesbury. It is a 5-10 minute ferry or water-taxi ride from the Brooklyn ("Hawkesbury River") train station, or of course bring your own boat and either dock at the private jetty/pontoon or on the private commercial-grade swing mooring (rated for a 55 foot yacht).

The location is ideal for fishing, exploring, or just relaxing with a cold drink on the sun deck.

The light-filled west-facing lodge captures a huge expanse of water. The sun deck overlooks the immediate water below and the house contains a fully equipped modern kitchen, living and indoor/outdoor dining areas, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, & a back deck with BBQ, drinks fridge & freezer for your catch. The kitchen contains cooking ingredients, a Breville coffee barista machine and an Aldi pod coffee brewer, and pots and pans etc for your crab catch. The lounge room has a large UHD flat screen SMART TV with sound bar set up for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify and Music videos.

Feel the weight of the world lift from your shoulders as you wake to a fresh coffee from the expresso machine and gaze over the 2km fetch of water out front. Spend the day casting a fishing line, exploring local trails and aboriginal carvings, swimming in nearby sandy beaches or the newly formed rock pool below, explore waterways and nooks on the supplied kayaks and canoe (with life vests), or finally just enjoy a glass of wine on the sandstone steps, sharing stories of the day's adventures, with the cool water lapping over your feet (contemplating of course if you'll cook in the gormet kitchen, on the gas BBQ, or just take the boat to a nearby water-access restaurant)!

Sun Deck Lodge lies on the coveted South end of Little Wobby, with deep water access, unobstructed wide water views, close proximity to the public ferry wharf, a short stroll to the local bushwalks and beaches on the southern end, and access to the best fishing locations.

Take your boat direct to Sun Deck and moor on the deep-water swing mooring or tie to the private jetty.

If you prefer to train/drive then Brooklyn is less than an hour from Sydney CBD. The ferry (time table included with the house photos) is a 5 minute walk from the train station, and then a 10 minute ride on calm water to the Little Wobby Wharf. Sun Deck is the 4th house south of the wharf, less than 5 minutes walk. It's the house with the (only) large grass lawn in front!

Another alternative is the water taxi, which is a 5 minute approx $30 trip from Brooklyn direct to the Sun Deck private jetty.

On arrival, unpack, pull up a deck chair, and relax taking in the magnificent view over the water!

Boat access only, of course. So just park at Brooklyn in the free parking.

Please note that whilst full access is given for the mooring and jetty/pontoon, usage of the same is all at the vessel owner's own risk.

Tank water restrictions exist on Wobby - thankyou in advance!

Please bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. We supply mattress protectors, doonas, and pillows. Linen service (fitted sheets, pillow cases, and towels) can be arranged for a seperate cost, separate to any end-of-stay cleaning fee. Pls contact us if you need the linen service. About 50% of our guests choose to save some $ and byo linen which is why we offer this way. At time of writing the cleaners are charging $300 for the linen service.

All guests are different and as we try to keep the initial price down, wear and tear does add up... To equalise this we have introduced optional surcharges that we hope you can accept if staying at Sundeck. $50 person/per night (for the full stay duration) for over 6 guests. $50/per stay per pet.

Please take all your rubbish with you when you leave - there is no garbage service. There are bins when you arrive back in Brooklyn.

Please leave the house CLEAN and TIDY when departing. Cleaning gear in the kitchen cupboard. Turn off the gas. Empty fridges/freezer/compost bin, close windows, lock doors, secure rods and kayaks, put kayak paddles on back deck, and please return key to Key Safe. Thankyou.

All garbage and any remaining food in fridge is to be taken back to the mainland - there is no garbage collection at Sundeck
Gas cylinders (BBQ on back deck, and kitchen cooker under stairs) are to be turned off
Excessive cleaning fee applies for extraordinary mess, and moving furniture withour returning it to original position
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
