Weekend break at the Crowne Plaza

Arrived and parked in the hotel car park with no problem, we were given a Liver Building facing room which was fabulous. Food in the restaurant was delicious and service was great. Only downside was the very cold air conditioning, even when the temperature was turned up a bit, slightly restricted dining options and had to book an hour slot in the swimming pool.

Stayed here for a two night stay whilst visiting Liverpool. It is well situated and has on site parking which was important to us. I always saw Crowne Plaza as a mid to upmarket positioned hotel brand. Consequently I felt disappointed with quality of the room. It was far too hot, the shower water pressure was poor and we didn't sleep well. Breakfast was good

Overall, a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel, on the waterfront, and walking distance to amenities. Service and friendliness of staff was great. Got a free upgrade to a waterfront room and a voucher for a free drink and snack as we were celebrating a special occasion. Also, parking is free for blue badge holders. Air conditoning in our room was not working though and they were not able to sort it, though were quick and responsive. Shower and drainage could do with replacing. Shower was very slow. Not a power shower. Overall it was a nice hotel and we fedback the negatives directly to the hotel.

Hotel was pleasant, although parking was expensive which was disappointing as absurd car park prices seem to be common in the area. Staff were friendly and lots of great food options in the immediate vicinity.
