Great location, walking distance to Liverpool one, restaurants, coffee shops, bakery and the dock. The area is busy and can get loud at night. The carpets were stained, the way the property is shown on the website is different than when you get in there. The rooms are separated from the kitchen area by doors that hinge closed. So we used the kitchen chairs to keep the doors propped open so it felt like an actual open apartment. When contacting the property management staff member the first couple of times, the initial response was quick however after that they didn't respond at all. I sent pictures of the stained carpets and the stained couch etc. With no response. Maybe their other units were cleaner. There are also no hooks to hang your towels in either bathroom and no outlets in the bathrooms to plug in any essentials. So hair drying was a challenge. Some upkeep there is definitely required.

Room is great condition - spacious and big for everything we needed. Good location for shopping and easily accessible with lockboxes etc. In the room you can hear every single noise from outside in the corridor so not ideal if you want a good nights sleep as other guests are very rowdy - they assume because there is no staff on site they can be as loud as they want. Very noisy and difficult to fall asleep.

If you want a crash pad for the night then okay otherwise this place is overpriced. Rooms feel dingy. Stains on the sofa. Facilities tired and faulty - our tv was broken. Customer service is lousy. No one available on site and the phone contact number is not staffed over the weekend. It just rings out. Don’t know what you would do if you encountered issues with the door codes to access the property? I raised the tv fault via their online contact but we didn’t receive any response until after we’d departed. They won’t acknowledge this was a problem for us. Correspondence has since been ponderous and frustrating. A very disappointing stay and very poor customer experience. This place is far from ‘ EPIC ‘

I pre-checked via the website they sent and paid an extra fee to check in an hour early. But the door code never worked until 3 p.m., which meant I sat outside for an hour. No one answered the number listed. Be warned: This is an unstaffed “apartment”, not even close to a hotel, which may be deceiving. The apartment itself is average at best. A lot of odd features.

The actual hotel is lovely, exactly like the pictures, smooth check in ect, the only problem is that if your on a higher floor the person underneath must seem to think that walking is an inconvenience and worth a noise complaint. Sadly in my case I had very awlward guest staying underneath which painted us out to be bad stayers, we stayed mindful of them but every minor noise made by walking on the floor seemed to be a problem, which we couldn’t control as the sound of floorboards is the sound of floorboards, especially when this is an apartment which means it’s sleeps a group not just one or two people. As I know it will end up working out it favour of the person making a complaint as always. But unfortunately if your planning on walking round at ant point in your night it’s clearly a problem

Location is great. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Cutlery and plates etc weren’t particularly clean. No hand soap. Needed to ask for new door codes three times over our three night stay. Not the best.

Stayed a few times in different epic hotels this time it was duke street townhouse the room was big lots of space , beds were comfy only one complaint it was far too hot even with the windows open not sure if air con was working ,myself and my husband had headaches in the morning from the heat apart from that it was a fab place too stay

Lovely apartment very clean all you could need for a home from home stay the only thing I would suggest is to have more mirrors as there was 2 bedrooms and only 1 mirror in the small bedroom and 1 in the bathroom which was very hard for 5 women to get ready when 1 was in the bathroom we had 1 mirror to use.

Comfortable, clean & excellent location.

Very comfortable & clean, also surprisingly quiet considering how near to central Liverpool. 2 points that let it down slightly were:- 1) Fire doors on every door, we didn't like this as felt cut off from each other. 2) TV had no digital/freeview channels so was dependant on signing into streaming apps using our own account(s). Overall was a good stay, location is excellent.
