The staff were friendly and helpful. The waiter who served us dinner on the evening of 22nd March was particularly helpful and very professional. The room although a little dated was of a good size. The room was clean and the house keeping ensured the room was refreshed on the 22nd March. My only concern was that a significant number of boys, possibly there due to a football event were not supervised appropriately by the adults, who were obviously responsible for them. There were occasions when they ran round the corridors, played with a football in the bar / reception area and at times the adults joined in. Breakfast was also disturbed by the sheer number of either unsupervised or poorly supervised boys by the responsible adults. I felt that the staff were put in a very difficult position, as there was very little they could do. I feel it is essential that you review your booking system so that there are sufficient adults to provide adequate supervision. Despite this however I felt that overall the stay was good value for money.

I stayed for a couple of nights on business. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meals are ok. A big drawback to my stay was that there are no electric car points at the hotel, I had to visit 3 local charge points until I found one that worked.

Good hotel but avoid if it’s disco and quiz night.

A good stay whilst on business. Food was very good. Only issue was the bizarre disco and quiz on a Tuesday night. I’m ok with a disco and a quiz but this guy had the music on so loud people left the bar area including ourselves as you literally couldn’t hear each other speak. The quiz was like a pub quiz on red bull because after every answer was read out the guy played weird sound effects and canned clapping again incredibly loud. For a nice hotel where we wanted to unwind after a busy day and relax fit the next busy day the disco and quiz just didn’t work.

Below average tired and dated.

Room was freezing cold. Even with heating set to 30 degrees. The hotel is starting to like tired and dated. Noticed bedding was dirty when got into bed!
