Room was not cleaned properally on arrival towels was dirty and damp how ever bed was clean and shower and sink just rubbish all left everywhere no lifts working properally so had to use stairs to get to a service life my fiance has a bad leg and on a stick so he has hurt his leg more now with the walking

Pleasant stay

Location great. Check in quick and efficient. Lift was not working when we first got there, but we was told we could use the staff lift. Room was a little dated, but all the basics were there and the room was very clean and the bed was comfy, so all good. Breakfast was nice and hot. The girl on the door to the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again

Despite being an older building the room was quite clean a few issues the bath has hairs in from previous customers and the toilet seat was very wobbly. The bed wasn’t the comfiest and the nightclub was an issue but suppose that’s a council problem. Overall for what we paid it was fine and we would visit again.

We were able to park free in the hotel car park early on..We went into Liverpool to see the parade and we didn’t arrive back until 8pm. This wasnt a problem and the receptionist was really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable although the TV was quite small. We don’t normally worry about this, but others might. Bathroom had a bath with shower over which was nice . They do serve breakfast, we didn't est there but I would recommend booking at reception rather than when booking online as it's cheaper.

The hotel is absolutely fine. It’s just the rotters that stay there. I would have had a perfectly fine stay if two scallies hadn’t started a massive row and fight in the main corridor at 2am. Like proper yelling at each other - customers are intervening, and scallies are screaming “who the are you telling to shut up!!!” I don’t know what went on. I was almost going to ask, but chained and locked the door instead. Bed was good, TV worked, they have Twinnings tea bags, door security seemed adequate from scallies, breakfast was good. So yeah, the hotel is fine but seems to attract the odd unsavoury character thriving on mass drama (not me).

We were placed in a very small room with the bed almost up against the wall, a broken window latch which made it impossible to close the window, as we only stayed for 2 night's we never reported the matter, bathroom and amenities were all good, would stay again but would ask to relocated to a different room, in the main our stay was pleasant.

pleasant surprise staying at the Scarisbrick hotel given the number of negative reviews this hotel gets.. our room was spotlessly clean. large with a comfortable double bed. staff friendly. would certainly stay again. good value for money.

Booked for Southport triathlon so could have a longer sleep than getting up earlier from home and driving on the day. Very disappointed to be above a bar with load music until 2.45 and lots of drunks in the corridor. Toilet also very difficult to flush

We were booked into room 213. At about 22:30 there was loud music from the building next door. At about 23:30 the volume went up. At 00:15 the volume went up again it was as iff we were in the night club. I went to reception and asked to be moved, this they did and we were given a small room on the 4th floor and on the opposite side of the hotel. (room 425) It was very small but it was QUIET. Avoid rooms on the left side of the hotel

Very noisy surroundings, hotel don’t really care about the noise from neighbouring venues which are incredibly loud till at least 4am in the morning. It’s a shame because the hotel has character and has great potential to be great!
