I am not staying at the scarisbrick.as it is currently getting renovated. I am staying at the prince of wales hotel.which is lovely,the breakfast is excellent and the entertainment at nights is good.

The hotel is no-frills, have stayed before so knew what to expect. Overall the hotel is old, tired and in need of renovations however is cheaper than a taxi home when on a night out. Rooms are small, heating cannot be switched off so windows need to be opened letting in the noise from the street.

Southport trip

Staff were very helpful , have stayed here before , its always clean an plenty of towels , they had singer on friday an disco on Saturday so plenty of entertainment for any age , an was people were very friendly, lots of pubs near by an lots of shops along Lord street , I will be going back , I really enjoyed it

The actual room was freezing. Staff told me to turn radiators on and this didn't work so when I was sleeping I woke up really cold. Also the hotel we were meant to stay in was having works and they moved us without telling me. This affected my travel as the hotel I was in had a massive car park but instead I took two trains and a bus to get here.

MISTAKE!!

Myself and partner did not get told what time or where breakfast was, which led to missing breakfast sitting. Chief done us full English and watered down fresh orange (disgusting) had no choice of anything. The rest of our 2 night stay was us spending 70% of the time in the bathroom ill. Because of partner being full time carer of elderly father we have had to spend another two night at hotel to make sure father will not also become ill. This whole experience has became so much more expensive and has also caused a lot of trouble arranging father care. The room was clean to look at but thick dust on bathroom radiator also cobwebs, bathroom door doesn't even close so had to place objects to give privacy. Partner asthmatic so not good for chest. It's our last night and now key card doesn't open our room door so more inconvenience going down to see reception.

Have nothing bad to say me and my husband enjoy our stay had someone in the next room loud at 2:30 in the morning but not bad review every happy with the staff
