The room was spotless, had everything we needed, room was also quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was central to shopping, food and sightseeing. We used the code for parking, so the car was safe and there if we needed it.

The Resident is a "Premier Inn with Make Up". When you cut through the touchy feely hand written card, nice artwork in Reception, very pleasant receptionists, and old brickwork building, you geta basic Premier Inn bedroom with a small sink and a coffee machine as "extras". Except that in our room the upholstery was stained and the bathroom tiles broken and unsightly. We enjoyed our stay in Liverpool and the location of the Resident was convenient. Would we stay here again? Probably not as the Premier Inn is just round the corner and we would have saved a bundle.

The room was fab, the staff were lovely but I got no sleep because of how loud music was being played in nearby bars. No soundproofing at all, not sure if this is the case with every room but I could hear the thumping musicceven with my ear plugs in. Would not stay again for this reason only, everything else was great.

We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was smart, clean and stylish. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room (standard double) wasn't the largest but if was comfy, clean and had everything you need. The hotel is in a good location, near the docks and the main shopping area. It was also surprisingly quiet considering all the loud bars and pubs nearby. We did however hear noise from other guests in their rooms, but it didn't spoil our experience.
