Clean room, very helpful attentive staff. The amenities were those expected of a b&b. Our only qualms about our stay was there was no offer of remuneration re: the boiler having broken down.
Warm welcome from Rob and Sherrie, lovely chilled atmosphere. Room was lovely, had all you could want. Bed comfortable, slept well.
Breakfast was delicious, sausage and bacon was truly tasty. Access via track, very deep holes in a couple of places, but this wouldnât stop us and would recommend, great location for Welsh Botanic Garden.
I needed somewhere to stay for several nights while i toured around Wales, and thank goodness i chose Bryncoch. A wonderful stay, run by a lovely friendly and helpful couple. They catered for my dietary needs and gave me a lush breakfast every morning......Andrea.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Comfortable bed and excellent cooked breakfast. The only negative aspect of our stay was the unmade road leading up to the property.
Rob and Sherry gave us a warm welcome and are a lovely couple. We were well looked after and provided with an excellent full English breakfast. They were very helpful regarding info on local amenities and have two well-behaved dogs. This is a quiet location and great for a good night's sleep. We would definitely revisit if in the area. Many thanks to Rob and Sherry :)
Had a lovely time staying here.
Different from staying in a hotel.
Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in.
Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed.
Had the best 2 nights sleep Iâve had for ages.
The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time weâre in the area.
Thank you both x
Interesting. Very large room and large en-suite. Very comfortable kingsize bed plus room had TV, settee and tea/coffee making stuff.
Hosts were relaxed and forthcoming with information and conversation. Take a pair of indoor slippers because the location is the countryside and quite rightly outdoor footwear should be taken off indoors.
Location was ideal for our needs - visiting relatives and friends within a 20min drive.
Off the main road, reached by a farm track. Don't be put off. Generous breakfast. One night stay- we left relaxed and refreshed.
The people who run this B&B went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make sure I had everything I needed. Room was basic but clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not ensuite, but was assigned just to me and was across the landing. Two lovely, small dogs greeted me on my arrival: if you are afraid of dogs, this may be an issue.
Things to improve? A cafetiere of ground coffee would have been appreciated at breakfast and individual packets of coffee and sugar in room, rather than tupperware tubs.
Comfy bed, lovely breakfast, pleasant hosts, who were happy to lock the dogs away once they learned about my allergy. I stayed in a twin room and it would have been nice to have a bedside table and light at both beds. The surroundings are not as beautiful as they look in the pictures and the road to the property is unmade, badly potholed and difficult to drive over in my little car with low profile tyres. There is also a house rule of no outdoor shoes, so do remember to take slippers, particularly if your workwear includes tights! Not the best choice for the lone woman business traveller though a great base for tourists with a suitable car.
Accueil agreable
L aspect de la maison a l arrivee laisse a desirer. La chambre et la salle de bain ne sont pas au top (decoration a revoir)
Par contre les hotes sont sympathiques le petit dejeuner parfait
Lovely inviting place with very nice people who run the B and B . Sherry and Rob are very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and more we will be back .
Secluded but easy to find. The owners are obviously working hard and the property is modern, clean and well thought out inside. External appearance didn't match the pictures, but the flower baskets looked fantastic.. we were made very welcome and the hosts were very friendly and outgoing.a great start to our holiday.
We had a lovely welcome from the working dogs on the farm. The bed was comfy but very squeaky whenever I moved. Also you can hear every noise from the kitchen so if you like lie-ins it's probably not the place for you. Breakfast was lovely although we did get a couple of things wrong on our order. The main thing we would say is we felt very judged. Firstly as vegetarians and secondly there was quite a big deal made about the time we got in. We made the hosts aware of this before we even stayed, we are both in our 30s and got in at 11.30 which we didn't think was late, especially when we'd both had a 4 hour drive to see our friend for her hen do. We were made to feel like naughty school children getting in after curfue. In future, if you have a problem with things, don't accept the booking, and especially don't make your paying guests feel awkward.
