We very much enjoyed our stay. The trullo was very large (the pictures on the website don't do it justice -- it's bigger than it looked to us) and can easily accommodate 5 or more guests. One large bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, while the second large bedroom upstairs has a queen and a twin bed. In addition, there are pull-out beds in some of the furniture. The bedrooms have lots of space for storing your clothes (closets and dressers). There is both a living room and a very comfortable sitting room, both with TVs (but only Italian programs), as well as multiple outdoor areas with seating and tables. The washing machine works well, although it has a smaller capacity than most American washers. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, but could use better knives for food preparation.
We found the location to be very convenient, using it as a base for day trips. The trullo is in the village of San Marco, close to Locorotondo (10 minutes), Alberobello (15 minutes), Cisternino (20), Ostuni (40), Bari (60), Polignano a Mare (30), Monopoli (25), Lecce (1 hour 15 minutes), Matera (1 hour 20 minutes), and the Castellano Caves (25). There is a grocery store a 3 minute walk away.
The surrounding is lovely, and there are also restaurants nearby outside of the towns.
We highly recommend it for anyone interested in exploring Puglia.
