Very comfortable older building flats above a bookmakers. Fairly quiet area. Good value budget accommodation. Some cleaning issues and entrance stairs very shabby. Flats themselves fine. Wasnât keen on having to move rooms for booking issues. Oh get key from key box over the road and along the street.
Great location. Exceptionally fluffy towels. Gorgeous bedding. Really comfy bed but a couple of items in the kitchen had been put away still dirty (e.g. grill pan greasy, cup with tea and lipstick stains) and the entrance hall is filthy.
Rented the 3 room which is on the uppger floor w a typical for London steep, narrow staircase. The apartment has really everything you need, even a washer. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a queen bed and in the kitchen there is a sofabed. It was quiet in the apartment, but we found the street a bit rough at nighttime coming back. There is a kiosk at the corner and bus 49 leaving round the corner will take you straight to Kingâs Road or Victoria.
Dont miss the Flowershop/garden by the busstop, its amazing !
We got a phone call a couple of hours from the owner to let us know our apartment was ready and to tell us about the key safe which I thought was nice. The area is cool for exploring on foot or by bus but the underground and main line trains are a bit of a trek to get to. The room itself was cute! I struggled to find the right words as it is tiny incy and we felt a bit claustrophobic however the room was nice, not posh but fine for a london budget room. I would recommend this place if your ok with a cute but little room!
