Never even got to stay here after booking months and months ago for marathon weekend. The property originally confirmed the booking then went silent. We never got sent any check in details and they didnât reply to our message on the app the day before check in asking for these. After worrying weâd turn up with nowhere to stay we contacted Hotels.com who contacted the property who then confirmed âthey couldnât find our bookingâ and were now fully booked. Which is very convenient considering weâd messaged them prior through our booking on Hotels.com and theyâd clearly ignored our messages. I suspect they sold our room onto someone else at a higher rate after realising it was marathon weekend and didnât bother to let us know and cancel. If it wasnât for me working out myself something was suspicious and they probably wouldnât have our room ready on arrival weâd of turned up in London with nowhere to stay on marathon weekend. This caused a lot of stress only finding out just before we were meant to leave for London and as you can imagine it was really difficult finding somewhere else to stay on the day of marathon weekend and all the prices had sky rocketed since we booked this. Not impressed at all and still havenât received an apology direct from the property. They should not be allowed to operate on Hotels.com after this.
