First if all, the service was exceptional - on the first night there were some electrical issues (power kept cutting out in my room), once I raised this they immediate offered me a new room (I declined as the power was soon sorted). There was also a strange smell that I couldn't identify, but I soon acclimatised and it was gone by the second night - it could even have been from outside, I'm not sure. Past that, the hotel is kept in good condition, very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the area mostly quiet and transport links were nearby.

Très joli hôtel en plein Nottinghill, parfaitement situé, à 5min à pied d’un métro et de HydePark. Le quartier est calme, et propose beaucoup de restaurant aux alentours si nous avons trop marché la journée et que nous voulons rester à proximité le soir. Plus décevant, la chambre. Nous avons été piqué par des puces de lit, la propreté laisse à désirer, moisissure dans la douche. Et pas de Room service automatique, que sur demande. Le petit déjeuner est très simple. Uniquement viennoiseries et toast. Pas d’œuf brouillé, pas de bacon, saucisse, rien de typique anglais, dommage.

Sijainti hiljaisella sivukadulla ja hotellissa oli muutenkin rauhallista, vaikka se oli täynnä. Lähellä on posti, apteekki, turistien suosima ostoskatu ravintoloineen ja kaksi metroasemaa. Sivukaduilta löytyy myös pieniä mukavia ravintoloita ja paikallisten suosimia pubeja, jos haluaa pois turistivilinästä. Hotelli on entinen viktoriaaninen asuinrakennus. Se on vaatimaton ja kodinomainen, mutta sopii mainiosti pienellä budjetilla matkustaville. Sisätiloissa on paljon kapeita portaikkoja. Huonojalkaisen matkailijan kannattaa pyytää huone ensimmäisestä kerroksesta, mutta aamiaishuone on joka tapauksessa pohjakerroksessa.
