For anyone looking for a completely different stay in London, look no further. The boat has been very tastefully renovated to the highest standards. My family stayed in the media room which is filled with CDs, videos, dvds and books. The only trouble is that you canât play any of them unless you bring your own CD/video/dvd player and hook up to the tv. They are nice to look at though and reminisce in front of your kids who have no idea what a video is. The lounge area is relaxing and again filled with books, large seating area and views out of the portholes.
The location is quiet and about 100 metres walk from South Quay docklands light railway. Itâs also about a ten minute walk to Canary Wharf with its multitude of shops and restaurants.
To top things off Dario our host was lovely and made us feel most welcome and gave us a tour and history of the boat.
Stop thinking about it and hit that booking button.
Supurb stay! Was a little unsure of this option as I know the area and thought, "Really? A floating hotel here?" But it was such a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it.
Simply the best way to stay in Canary Wharf. You leave feeling relaxed and well looked after. The rooms are luxurious, especially en-suite. The open lounge area is expansive, welcoming with a fantastic library, antiques and more. Very special boat, fresher air. Altogether better than any 5 star hotel. Grand.
Perfect location for Isle of Dogs and Canary Wharf
I needed somwhere to stay whilst working inthe Marsh Wall area. I could not have got closer. The hosts on La Sorelle were very friendly and welcoming, nice quiet spot
Friendly, quirky, convenient. A welcome change to identikit hotels. It's like staying at a mate's place. It's right next to South Quay DLR, and two minutes from there to Canary Wharf with the Elizbaeth and Jubilee lines. Really liked it; will be going back.
Such a cozy and cute place. You get to meet the owners which is so nice! Location is beyond phenomenal, next to 2 major lines that take you pretty much to central London or directly to the airport.
One thing to keep in mind is due to the structure of the ship there is a lack of wifi inside the rooms.
Highly recommend it for the experience and lovely owners alone.
This was perfect for my overnight business trip. Tranquil peaceful and relaxing.
Incredible host.
A night without distractions was just what is needed before an early morning meeting.
Just what Le Sorelle delivered.
Thank you again đ
Absolutely wonderful. Luxurious rooms with everything done to make your stay comfortable. Fantastic interior design, charming character. Warm and welcoming environment. Arrived, relaxed and enjoyed the ambiance of a glorious, richly furnished houseboat of past times.
Really lovely place to stay. Boat is like a Tardis and every detail is beautifully thought out and meticulously clean. Owners were super friendly and had laid on a tasty breakfast. A little gem in a bustling financial area.
Unique experience being on a boat, it was warm, very clean, comfy beds, decoated to a v high standard, hosts were very friendly and helpful, will stay again!
This was booked for myself and my two children (9-11), so the novelty of them staying on a boat was already a winner.
The host greeted us and were so friendly, and couldn't have been more helpful throughout the stay.
The room exceeded my expectations. It was clean, comfortable, the decor was fantastic. The bathroom was incredible.
5 stars all in all, I would not hesitate to book here again when staying in London, and will certainty be recommending to friends and family.
