RENTER BEWARE. Decent property and good location, but a terrible host. Multiple maintenance issues and a total lack of support forced us to move halfway through our 4-week stay.Upon arrival, the host instructed us to lie to the concierge, claiming we were "guests" and not VRBO customers. Weâve never been asked to be dishonest by a host. The unit wasn't even ready; we were met with laundry on drying racks and sheets hanging on doors that we had to fold and put away just to move in.The refrigerator was a disaster. A loud alarm from the control panel had to be constantly reset, the ice maker was frozen over, and we had to install the fridge racks ourselves as they were crammed into cabinets. Eventually, the fridge failed to keep our food cold ruining our food.Other unaddressed issues:âąRange hood and dryer were broken.âąKitchen faucet handle literally fell off.âąPots and pans were unsafe to use as teflon was ruinedâą3 out of 5 kitchen lights were out.âąGuest bedroom window was stuck open, letting in freezing air and airplane noise.âąShower door wouldnât shut, wardrobe doors won't closeâąMiscellaneous junk everywhere.I notified the host multiple times starting day two with no response for a week. After involving VRBO, the host finally claimed repairs would happen over the weekend, but no one showed up. After two weeks of being ignored and living in a broken apartment, VRBO finally moved us. Avoid this hostâthe lack of professionalism and basic maintenance is unacceptable.
