The hotel is located just off Oxford Street, very close to Selfridges department store. It is two minutes walk from Marble Arch tube station which makes it convenient for commuting and getting around London. It is also a five minute walk to Hyde Park. Its location down a side street makes it very quiet for sleeping. The reception team were very welcoming and the water in reception was very welcomed after being on the hot tube. I received an room upgrade which was a nice surprise. The room has every amenity, hair dryer, robes, slippers, excellent tea and coffee, all bathroom hand lotion, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, tissues, bath salts and self care items. There were two comfy arm chairs and a table if you wanted to eat in your room. There is a Marks and Spencer a couple of minutes away if you want to visit their food hall. The only negatives with the room were a couple of stains on the carpet and some paint chipping on the skirting boards. I didn't try the on site dining options but the restaurant looked very nice. Unlike other reviews I found the hotel to be quite and would definitely recommend it.

Not what I expected

Surprisingly small room. The most cramped room I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve stayed at Radisson Blu hotels internationally and this was nothing like the brand I know. TV was not working and very dusty behind. Technician had to come and find the switch behind it. The grand facade, is a little shabby close-up. Reception is well staffed - but there were boxes lying around. It had the feel of an office reception. Staff were perfectly friendly and helpful. Its location is really all it has going for it. Needs investment.

The hotel was nice & staff very pleasant.However the noise from the scaffolding was annoying. Also an alarm went off early in the morning and it seemed like it was attached to the hotel wall

Great location and friendly staff, however rooms are small and the corridors are narrow. Also, the bar was closed as it was a Sunday (?) and lifts were out of order. From 9am constant door slamming in the corridor meant check out came sooner than planned.

Hotel is kind of OK in a somewhat faded way. It's just not great. Everything feels a bit tired and when you're told that your room is on the 4th floor and the lifts are not working then your heart sinks a little further. No mention of that pre-arrival that I noticed.

I know it’s London, but even these rooms are too small, the lift was broken so have to climb the narrow stairs, it need a good refresh and it’s a bit dated, location is good but the price is still to high for what you get
