Old but good price for centre of London stay.

Check in was fine, but we took the wrong turn to our room and ended up being confronted by a security guard sat in the corridor…have no idea what was going on there but it was a bit intimidating. Room was very old, there were no plugs near the beds, I had to stand on a chair to close the blind and the shower gel container was empty. The queues for the 4 lifts was crazy, they just didn’t seem to work efficiently. We were hardly in the room so in that sense it was fine, and the price was good in that respect.

Very convenient location for theatres and shops. Clwan and comfortable with very friendly, helpful staff. The only drawback is the lifts. Would recommend this hotel to friends wanting a short stay in London.

Big old hotel, but it's been renovated so doesn't feel rundown. Can't beat the location – just steps from the Elizabeth line, so easy to get to/from from the airport. The hotel restaurants are just OK, so I'd skip the breakfast buffet -- just go to the cafe on the corner -- but everything else was satisfactory and good price. Will definitely stay there again!

Love the new renovation and decor in our room. We’ve stayed here several times because of its excellent location and now the room improvements are a massive plus!! Would definitely recommend.

St Giles standards are low in many areas: Cleanliness- e.g. previous guests eyelashes were stuck on bathroom basin and dirty floors and carpets. Maintenance - e.g. needed a visit by maintenance staff to obtain hot water for shower and wash basin Elevators - always slow and crammed Staff - management need to stop overworking limited staff. Stingy extras - little or nothing

Just about okay

It's fine as a cheeper hotel but the bed is shockingly uncomfortable to the point of having to get on top of the duvet too help my back! Breakfast was as expected (toast and cereal) definitely not "continental"

Decent property close to the theater district. A bit noisy due to the busy district. Not the hotel's fault, but London needs to clean itself up. The room is very small, but that's pretty standard in most of Europe. It is clean, comfortable, and contains standard amenities.

Great hotel right next to TCR tube station , we were next to a fire door ( and lifts) so got loud when people came back late at night or left early . Would deffo use again but would asked to be away from fire doors and lifts
