Wonderful stay at St James Court! Everything was so clean, room was serviced and immaculate! Yummy breakfast options and friendly staff! Special thanks to Harish from the front desk, Jeswin, Robin and Sovio from the restaurant and William from lobby. We stayed for 6 nights and they really made us feel at home - everyone super welcoming, super professional, we came to be tourists and eating a hearty breakfast was super efficient, rooms were gorgeous and clean. I have stayed at The Ritz, Four Seasons etc and honestly enjoyed this stay so much more! Highly recommended! Don’t worry about the construction- you’ll not notice it at all!

Just amazing from start to finish. Probably the friendliest welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in the uk. The service you could not fault. The cleanliness throughout was top marks. The breakfast was on another level, there was nothing that wasn’t available, even the choice of a traditional Indian breakfast. Amazing stay

Disappointing Stay – Not the Taj Experience We Expected We have been loyal customers of St. James, choosing it for all our recent visits to London. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing and far below the standards we have come to expect from a Taj property. To begin with, the level of courtesy and customer care was lacking right from check-in. We were also not informed at the time of booking that the hotel is currently undergoing renovations — something that clearly impacted the overall experience. The warmth and graciousness that define Taj hospitality were simply missing. To make matters worse, there was a mishap with one of our bags handled by the bellman during check-in, and there was zero effort to resolve the issue. Instead of an apology or an attempt to correct their mistake, we were brusquely directed to the nearest hardware store to fix the problem ourselves. This experience was deeply disappointing and not in line with the Taj standards we’ve always admired. We truly hope management looks into addressing these issues. Sadly, we will be reconsidering our loyalty on future trips to London
