Very small and spartan room but super convenient to St. Pancras/Kings Cross stations. Staff was very friendly. Stairs were a bit awkward with heavy bags so I wouldn't recommend for anyone who would find that a challenge. Value for price so no complaints.

Such a lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly and loved that there is a bar. There’s an outdoor terrace but it was raining so couldn’t use it. Lovely room, nice and clean and a huge bathroom. Great spot for Kings Cross area, up a small side street opposite the station - would definitely stay again

A lovely room, everything was spotless, possibly just been refurbished. I had a wet room, towel a bit on the small side but manageable. New kettle, no biscuits 😔 A LOT of stairs!

We stayed one night at the hotel because it is close to the station for Eurostar train since we had to catch a train in the early morning. Yes, it is quite close, within 10min walking. But the room with a queen bed and bunker bed for 4 adults was too small, almost no free space. Narrow and steep stair way without elevator is also not desirable for travelers with heavy large luggages. It would be OK for just one night, but is not a good choice for multiple nights.

Overall a good stay, staff were helpful and pleasant. Only thing I can think of for improvement would be the WiFi doesn’t work in the fourth floor but everywhere else is great. Just be aware that there is no elevator (staff are on hand to help with luggages if needed) but isn’t that part of the charm with boutique hotel.

Not as advertised

As a solo traveller I did not feel safe in my room due to the age / state of the door and poor locking system. Room did not look like the advertised photos, room was on the top floor with no lift so difficult to carry heavy luggage up several floors and room was also located right on the staircase - the room is not noise proof at all so I was constantly woken up all night by people up and down the stairs. Taps and shower heads had build up and did not feel clean, floor was also filthy my socks were grey from walking around on the floor. I wouldn’t stay there again.

There was construction outside of the hotel making it very difficult to find. Even our Uber driver was lost. A message from the hotel as a heads up would have been appreciated. We checked in around midnight and when we got to our room, it was so small that the 4 of us could barely fit our bags and ourselves in the room as it was much smaller than advertised. As soon as we opened the door a very strong sewer smell came out of the room. The bathroom was even worse. We opened windows to air it out but the smell never disappeared. The room was muggy and also had a body odor smell. The bathroom has frosted doors, so no privacy. We ended up staying just that one night since we were unable to find another hotel until the next day and barely slept due to the heat and the smell. I reached out to the property about a refund and never heard a response from anyone. Definitely do not recommend this hotel.

Overall the stay was fine. However, upon check in I didn't feel very welcomed. Maybe the check in staff had had a rough day? They filled my request of a ground floor room so I didn't have to lug my suitcase up stairs. The room itself was fine however very small. It was hard to open my suitcase. Positive note- the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I had on my travels. One small thing to note for travellers - the step into the hotel itself is reasonably high from the footpath. Especially with a heavy large suitcase.
