One night stopover. Solid hotel very close to Paddington Station. Fully met my purpose. Staff were great. If the hotel was rated as a 3 or 4* hotel I would have given it a 5/5 review. It is not a 5* hotel as listed.

Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom facilities were good. We had 2 single rooms and there was a mix of facilities missing from each room, no fridge in one and no safe in another.

Room was fine. Very small for the price. The but that would put me off going back is that the restaurant downstairs is Indian style cuisine. The rooms absolutely stink of the restaurant by the time you go to bed. Thick smell of garlic, cooked onions, spices. Restaurant smelt nice at 5pm, not at 1am! Stay was ok but would probably look elsewhere

Great valued Hotel next to Paddington

It’s great location to the station that has express train from airport. The hotel staff all are so nice , moreover the rooms provides best services compared to many others. Will definitely recommend and come back again if we come back to London !

I booked a date in error and despite three emails to correct the booking, the only reply I got was to call a number (that did not exist) or email (that bounced back). So that was GBP270 down the drain.

The hotel is very nice. Staff are wonderful and very informative when we needed directions and restaurant suggestions. Room was perfect and very clean. Close to the tube and trains to Heathrow.

This was a lovely hotel and our stay was excellent. Staff were friendly and professional. Only downside is it’s in a more residential area and there isn’t much to do in walking distance.

My reservation was cancelled on the day of arrival. I was rebooked into a 'sister' hotel about 15 minutes away. After a long day of travelling this was very unwelcome. Looking at other reviews, it seems that this was not an isolated experience. Staff could have made the disruption easier to cope with by preparing directions to reach the new hotel or by providing a taxi. instead they were unapologetic and disinterested.

Good location, quite, very clean

A great hotel. Not far from Paddington. Great breakfast (although while i thought that was included it wasn't in my case). Room was small but adequate for me although missing a service directory about what was available in the hotel. Quiet and very clean with lots of freebies.

Hotel cancelled our room literally half an hour before we got to London. They made accommodations at their sister hotel all the way across town, but we needed to be close to Paddington because 1) we really enjoy that area and 2) we had to catch a plane the next day and needed easy access to the airport. I had to quickly book another hotel next to Paddington station which was much more expensive since it was for the same day. Hotel Montcalm Chilworth acted like it had done us a favor —- maybe they did!! I’ll never know because I will never book a room there again.
