Very bad experience at The Cumberland Hotel. I stayed for 14 nights. At check in we were initially told there was no booking under our name. After a long and frustrating back and forth they eventually found it. Housekeeping service is extremely poor. I put the clean room sign every morning and came back at 4 PM to find the room still untouched. When I asked they simply said we are busy which is a very weak excuse. The housekeeping staff were rude and careless. Honestly this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in when it comes to cleanliness and room service. The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

Our favorite thing about this hotel was the prime location. You can walk one minute to get to the underground and also close to a bus stop. It is the old hard rock so the bar is very fun and large. They also do live music some nights. The rooms were pretty basic but nice.

The outstanding part of the stay was the helpfulness of the executive check-in, Dorian's welcome and continued help during our stay, and the help of the concierge desk. We also enjoyed the great breakfast selection - especially the omlet makers.

FAB hotel and staff

What an amazing experience.We stayed here seceral times when it was the Hard Rock and were concerned it wouldnt be as good .We had nothing to worry about .Apart frkm he branding nothing else had changed. Awe made very welcome by Maza in the backstage room.Elvin from secutity took us to the room and as i use a walking stick talked me through ths fire evacuation procedure.A lovely gentleman whos name escapes me brought our bags and taljedvus through usingvthe air conditionibg. . We had booked to see Setevie wonder on Saturday then ELO SUnday but dud to ihis ill health ELO was cancelled.We asked at reception of othercefents particularly an art exhibition we wanted to see..He went awaycabd came bzck with 2 tickets for free entyr .What a lovely surprise. The only thing that was disappointng was they had now Brown sauce with breakfast.We did ask but they had run out. That being said it was a first class stay and we will definitely return .Thank you
