Like many others previously, the photo's draw you in and really aren't an accurate representation of what you're actually getting. Significant mould/decay around toilet flush, sink and mould spots on ceiling and bed base. Beds are lumpy and dated its just a basic double with a box base. Tvs are maybe 25 inch.
The pictures you are looking at are probably when it first opened years ago but nothing has been done in terms of repairs and upkeep. The only reason i'm not totally disappointed is because its literally 2 minutes from kings cross station and we didn't spend much time at all in the rooms
This was a disappointing hotel as I thought the Roxy chain are high end in other city’s!
The bed was only just better than a camp bed, the shower had mould, and I was not making a coffee after looking at the kettle!
I stopped at a hotel the other side of the park for the same money and would stop at that one instead!
Awful. Black mould everywhere. Door had been stripped of security lock and fitted with what looked like a child’s toy with only one locking point. Damp everywhere. Not even a bin that stays closed, aerating the place with whatever you’ve had to throw away. Not suitable for children.

Luxury lodge.
Lovely host who went out of his way to get us into our room early.
The luxury chalet was ok for one night however the outside light shone through the window all night which caused a disturbance.
The bathroom is very tired and requires some maintenance leading to a damp smell and uneven floor.
We also noticed ants within the room.

A quirky property with lovely hosts. Has a great nights sleep.
Absolutely filthy. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and we could not sleep at all, and now we both have severe back pain. The room is tired, old, and all the furniture/walls is chipped and broken. The wall dividing the room and the toilet isn’t even a real wall and light shines through it. We found a ton of dust and cobwebs. We hurt our legs due to uneven step outside. No amnesties in the bathroom. Very noisy outside because the windows are very thin.
We understand we got a cheap deal and we don’t expect amazing but we atleast expect it to be clean?!
Great location! I love the self check in and check out. We could also leave our luggage the next day as we had a late train leaving london. The room was very practical for everything you need and in a great location! Would I stay again - yes!
Leaking toilet message them no answer, radiator touch side of the bed got very hot struggle sleeping thinking might get burnt

Good location.
Good location. Check in quick and easy and allowed us to check in early as rooms ready when we dropped bags off.
Rooms small but ok as only slept in room.
Our only issues were heating on all night which we couldn’t control so very warm and window wouldn’t open properly.
Water pressure in shower also poor.
Ok for our one night stay.
Good stay, they could do with some coat hooks in the room or some hanging space! Had all the basic amenities covered, and were very helpful when required.
What a warm welcome from Front of House! My bag was whisked to my first-floor room with a wonderful view of the garden square. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room has some quirky rather engrossing art, the shower was good and strong ... can recommend the Melville for anyone who fancies a night or three in a really good part of town.
The hotel was sufficient for a single night but the room was very small and up a very narrow flight of steps. The door to the bathroom stuck on the floor making it difficult to get the door open or closed.
