I stayed here with 4 adults and 3 children between the ages of 10 and 14 for four nights in August. Generally, the place was great. The main cabin has plenty for space for our group at the table and a large kitchen made cooking there easy. All the appliances are new. There is a charcoal grill out back thatâs fairly worn. Briquettes and lighter fluid were provided.The main cabin has a loft area for sleeping that my daughter said was too hot and spent the trip happy enough on the couch. There is one bed room in there. The wall doesnât reach to the ceiling so privacy is limited. There are two other separate cabins on site. One has a 3/4 bath and an either a full or maybe queen, with very little room on the sides. The other cabin is a 1/2 bath with a bunk of two full size beds. The neighbors are close, but our experiences with them were good.The dock area was great. They had 4 smaller kayaks and some paddles available. We are big kayak people and brought our own. The path to the dock is a hike but well maintained. We didnât have problems lugging our large kayaks up and down. There was also a platform out in the water a ways that was tethered down that the kids loved. The lake is great. I paddled around every morning and the kids played in the water a good chunk of the rest of the day.I would definitely recommend and thank you to the owners for sharing your home.
