I DO think it was very cute and very clean inside . The hosts were quickly responsive and very nice. The linens were very clean and worry free. Having a one-night rental option was a huge plus. The porch and scenery were very relaxing, and the neighborhood is quiet. It's a cute place and comfortable to stay in, if there are 4 or fewer adults. (The room with the twin beds is more suitable for children bc the room is styled more childlike rather than for adults-So this house would serve 2 adults and 2-3 kids well.
Issues to be aware of 1) The sleeper sofa is really, really uncomfortable, you can feel the springs through the mattress I wouldn't plan on this as a sleeping option. 2) The A/C simply couldn't keep up with the heat of a Texas summer and a full house, especially in the kitchen living room areas, the bedrooms were better and they kept up fine during the night.. 3) The Wifi was a bit iffy, though we certainly had a lot of devices in it. 4) The listing photos make the site and rooms to be much larger than they are. While rural, there's not a great deal of space between the HomeAway house and other people. It is essentially in the host's backyard, which is fine if expected, we did not so we were disappointed. Also, while we saw a cute bunny, a horse, heard the goats and chickens, we also saw from the porch unkept spaces, and other neighbors backyards.
Overall the house is much tinier in person than what it looks like online. The kitchen is small, and there's little room in the bedrooms for extra cots or air mattresses. The TV was tiny.
