This was an awful stay , the house was the perfect size , conveniently located , had new linens, beds , kitchen amenities (no microwave as advertised as it was in the hot water closet ) and new furniture. All a plus , however it had no hot water the day I arrived , 2nd day and it was only until I contacted VRBO on the 3rd day that the property manager VaCasa started to address no hot water . I contacted the proper manager by, phone , text and email numerous times on the 2nd and 3d day only to be told a different story each time . At one point I was told by the property manager “I’m in Cabo San Lucas , what do you want me to do ?” Another time I was told to wait in the house all day (Monday) for the plumber to arrive and I did only to question at 1:30 pm, when do you think the plumber will arrive ?” I was told they are not coming . It was then I contacted VRBO and a plumber arrived in 2 hours. The plumber fixed the hot water for Monday afternoon and Tuesday but Wednesday morning there was no hot water on the day I have to fly back to France . Monday was the day I was to celebrate my birthday with friends but I spent the day requesting hot water . To add insult to injury the property manager sent me an email Tuesday night requesting help cleaning the house . I have been renting homes in Mexico for 30 years and I’m well experienced when it comes to travel but this experience won the award for do not stay here.
