Break has really become bla no more hot oat meal,peanut butter,cheap little danish,hot tea varieties,sugar free syrup. Cheapest little plastic silverware ( hard to even cut a waffle). Worst of any Best Western or any hotel chain. Great staff,especially young man at front desk.

This hotel used to be my go to when I visit Pasadena. But, when I visited this time, their pool and Jacuzzi were down. And I was out in a very dated room. Given the same charge, it was a disappointing experience. I'm debating if I'll come back again.

Actually has lighting, quiet A/C

Good basic room. Just an overnight stay. Room is moderate size but adequate. bathroom was large but basic. Nothing luxurious but good standard room. One plus was a ceiling light fixture that lit up the room with one flick of a switch. Thought California had outlawed the little shampoo/conditioner amenities but they had them. Only one small bar of soap and two sets of towels in the room. Many rooms have the under window A/C units, this one was quiet.

Breakfast was nice. Reception staff were good but knowledge of the area depended who was on duty. I asked for my room to be cleaned every other day. They asked if I wanted it done the first morning and I said no, they came in the next day. I was there for 6 nights and it was only cleaned once. Overall friendly and nice staff and not a bad place to stay.
