The house was just perfect and comfortable, i had a really good time in it, so close to the beach and the shops.
Ada is a wonderful host, if you need a place to stay in Venice beach i recommend you to book this house.
This little house is a great location. Very close to the beach. Itâs got plenty of space for 2-3 people, even though the bathroom is very small, thereâs plenty of sleeping spaces. The host was very responsive, so that was nice! Keep in mind this home is right on the street, close to the beach, and has older windows, so the road noise was significant. I would recommend bringing young kids, as they would have a hard time sleeping. Otherwise, itâs a great little place for the price! We would return for sure!
We were happy with the location which is next to the beach and blocks from Abbott Kinney Blvd with many shops and restaurants. It also met our needs for a dog-friendly place that had two big beds, preferably in separate rooms. There is even a dog park right across the street, mainly for big dogs. Our host checked in with us often and was very responsive to my questions. Details: Bed comfort was OK/fine. I liked the corner nook and desk in the bedroom for doing my makeup and storing things since there is one small bathroom for a place that sleeps 4. Water pressure in the shower is way too low. The fridge is clean and spacious, and the kitchen had basic appliances like a coffee maker, toaster oven, stove with oven and microwave. There is significant noise level from the street that startled our dog consistently. Some improvements to the front door and windows (filling gaps, higher quality window coverings) could help and likely increase the propertyâs overall energy efficiency. Trash cans and dumpsters are close to the property and also contribute to the high noise level. Street parking was not reliable enough for us (no parking 8-10 a.m. or 3-7 p.m.) so we ended up paying a daily rate at one of the parking structures next to the beach.
This rental was in a fantastic location, just a two-minute walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean and nearby attractions. Despite being in a busy area, we found the nights to be peaceful and had undisturbed sleep. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, including beach blankets and bikes, which made our stay even more convenient. The host was responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
The house was great. We had everything we needed. Except there is no designated parking. Parking is super scarce and expensive. You have to pay for day parking(10) and overnight parking(30.) There is parking in front of the house but there are designated hours and once you are moving your vehicle it takes at least 30-45 minutes to find another parking place. The signs are not explicit so my son's vehicle was towed(375) and we received a ticket(75.) And we believed we were complying with the signs!
Would not do it again. Location works great for beach and food. Bikes are a good touch. The rest is subpar and felt dark (except at night), dingy, and nickle and dimeâd.
Amazing location, cute place, great communication!
We enjoyed a sunny Valentine's weekend based from this cute place. Perfect location in Venice within easy walking distance to beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. Didnât even use the bikes as planned--though we would have used them to roam further with one more day. Between this cute convenient place, meals at Great White and The Win-Dow, witnessing Venice Electric Light Parade on Rose Ave, and two surfing lessons from Badass Surfing School, we absolutely enjoyed a fun and relaxing weekend. Highly recommend!
The location is great! Very close walk to Venice Beach. Bikes are available but we didnât end up using them. We had a lot of trouble with our TV but our host really put out the effort and we finally got it going with her help. Itâs an older property with close neighbors, but includes all the basics. We had no issues or even contact with neighbors. Uber had no trouble finding us. Again, host was really great.
Not sure why so many good reviews - my experience was not great. Good location (a block from the beach) but on very busy street (heavy traffic during rush hours) so you never want to leave the windows open. You also don't want to open the windows as it didn't feel particularly safe, with alleys on three sides, and homeless wandering through (this is a problem in general in Venice, but I would have liked the house to feel more secure). Also you look out to trashcans and waste containers from the neighboring apartments from the living room, kitchen, and bedroom - not pleasant or pretty. Communication easy with host, but she is not on site to show you the house - (for example, I was freezing and was not warned that the heat was not working and didn't realize until the next dat that there was a space heater) - this might have been avoided with a human check-in. I won't be returning.
I was very pleased with this rent. The location was as advertised. Before arriving I was a little concerned about parking but it was really easy. Easy communication with the property manager and I would easily recommend it for anyone looking for something in that area.
Enjoyed our stay at Venice Beach. We were here for 4 nights over a holiday weekend.
It was an unusually hot weekend. The unit has no AC but with the fans and a breeze from the ocean, we were fine. The location is excellent but it is on a busy thorough fare and parking is a pain but we made it work (the holiday weekend at the beach didnât help).
The place was very clean and I felt fairly priced for the location. I would definitely return!
We had a lovely time in Venice Beach. The weather was perfect to have the windows open for fresh air to keep it cool inside.
It is Venice Beach, and your right in the prime of action (yes that includes noise at night if you aren't familiar with city noises), which is why we went there for our Vacation. Parking is tricky all over Los Angeles but we managed to score awesome parking spots everyday.
Easy walking distance to night life and restaurants. Perfect biking community for day and night biking along the boardwalk or streets. Excellent mountain bikes provided to patriciate in lowering our Carbon footprint. Spacious kitchen to cook foods from local farmers markets (Friday morning Venice, Saturday morning Santa Monica).
10/10 would stay again!
Easy walk straight to the beach and short walk to Abbott Kinney shops. Great communication from the host with quick responses to any questions. Bikes were fun and made going down to Santa Monica Pier easy. Parking can be a little complicated because of the different times you could and couldnât park on certain streets but we always found a spot without paying for parking. . Miss the ocean already!!
This is Noisy neighborhood in late hours. The windows need to be open as there is no AC. The indoor Temperature was comfortable with the windows open, but it was hard to rest with the noise. Not a fan of owner watching guests in her place on camera without disclosure.
