The room was not what was pictured. It was broken down, the outlets didn't work, the manager was rude and disrespectful. The soda machine was down a dark alley and there was no toaster for the bread at breakfast. Someone pointed and laughed from the staff while my mother and I ate. This was my birthday trip and I was sorely disappointed.

So this room was rough, but it didn’t bother me at first. Starting off the bathroom light would randomly turn on and off throughout the night, not a big deal except that the door is so poorly set it’s impossible for a child to operate, so we left open and dealt with the light. Then go shower, water doesn’t get hot. Attempting to sleep through the night was difficult since the front door lock and striker are so misaligned every bit of road noise comes in through the cracks. Then come back late for our second night and enter to a freshly made bed and clean room, with water all over the bathroom, not sure from where or what but it was everywhere! So I cleaned it and notice the familiar smell of sewage gas’s coming from the shower. Most likely from a shower drain installed without a p-trap (I’m a general contractor) the smell all night was awful! At this point I was annoyed but not to the point to say or complain. After cleaning the water mess I sat on the chair (for the first time) only to have the chair tip suddenly sending me to the floor. Yes my son laughed endlessly but it made me angry. Had it been a senior or person that simple tipped in a way to hit a corner on their head it could be a major injury. Bottom line this place cute and old, but in my opinion not worth the money I spent on it.

It was great for a last minute trip, but it could of been better. The bed was so hard my back hurt so bad by the end of the 6 days. You could tell they don't mop the floors, the shower had a sewer smell to it and the toilet would run all the time. The parking was rough, the spots are tiny and it's hard to get in and out of the small parking lot. I loved that breakfast was included, but disappointed on what was provided. They only had bagels, toast and cereal. I saw that they had waffles but they never offerred them in the 6 days I stayed. It was nice they had lots of coffee and water. The staff was super nice and accommodating. They let us check in early and fixed the air conditioning quickly. I would definitely stay there again.
