Michael at the front desk was amazing at check in and such a funny person. The hot tub was broken but fixed by our second day at the hotel. Would have been nice if the pool was heated because it is freezing when it isn’t. The property itself was fine. A little different than the pictures online. Hotel needs updating.

I initially considered giving the hotel a five-star rating due to the exceptional assistance provided by the front desk staff, who were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, my overall experience was impacted by significant delays in room service, making it extremely difficult to have our rooms attended to in a timely manner. Additionally, the process for refunding the deposit took over a week, which added to the inconvenience. As a result, I had to give the hotel a two-star rating.

Room was clean but but outdated and had no USB ports. Bathroom counter space was ver limited. Hallways were grungy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Libby area decorated nicely. Pop tarts for breakfast made a good to go snack. Coffee was good. Shower was nice and hot. Ice machine near our room was noisy.

We have come to Glendale 4 times to see our son. Every time we come we stay at Glendale Express. The rooms are always clean and the staff are very helpful. We will be back next year and will stay here again.

Good deal, close to the fun, ok for us

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to our destination, because the price was good compared to other hotels and because the reviews were mostly good. The money we saved was worth it. The negatives: It was what we expected as far as dated and not exactly spotless. We were disappointed to find that the hot tub was out of service. There were a few cobwebs along the ceiling in the room, the refillable shampoo/conditioner/shower gel containers were not all filled up (shower gel was completely empty) & we only received 2 towels even though we booked for 3 people. The positives: The staff were nice, plenty of parking-free parking, it was no problem getting more towels or getting answers to our questions, the bed and pillow were comfy and we saved over $200 compared to comparable hotels.

This property was fresh and clean. It had a very interesting decor giving homage to the local area. The staff was very efficient and very friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only Improvement I can see is a breakfast could have been served.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient in getting the crowd of guests to our rooms after a 20-minute wait due to an issue with the room keys. However, the rooms did not match the trendy 50s/60s boutique hotel depicted on the website. Instead, our room was in need of renovation, with old, peeling 6” wallpaper border from the 80s and outdated bathtub fixtures with bubbled and cracked chrome that caused me to cut my thumb when I turned the knob. Furthermore, we had to request additional towels since the hotel does not provide daily cleaning or bed-making services for 2 night (weekend) stays. It seemed the front lobby had undergone some renovations, paint, a bit of retro boutique decor but they stopped there. The large 6ft camel in the entrance of the lobby seems a little out of place too. The parking was great and plenty of it.
