Dirty!

After taking a red-eye into LAX we stayed at the Holiday Inn LAX. Our first experience was the airport shuttle taking quite a long time to pick us up. After about 20 minutes of waiting after first notifying the hotel of our arrival, I called to verify the shuttle was in-route and was placed on hold and then the line disconnected. One be boarded the shuttle the driver was friendly and the drive to the hotel was quick. The night clerk was not especially friendly checking us in, and the lobby floors were sticky. When we got to our room there was noticeable mold in the bathroom in, around, and on the ceiling above the shower, and in the corners of the bathroom. The carpet was also dirty so much that I made my children wear socks when walking around. The bottom of the socks quickly turned black and were thrown away before getting into bed. I would definitely not stay with them again in the future.

The location was convenient for our travel through LAX. The bed, linens and bathroom toiletry supplies were excellent. The ventilation system is an older noisy model but did keep the room comfortable

Shuttle service and close proximity to airport were great. Not being able to get continental breakfast for 1-2 persons to take to room to eat was a negative. The parking was plenty, but confusing getting in and out. Some of outlets in room were super loose, couldn't charge anything by beds. Bathrooms with no fans was disappointing.

Great spot for an overnight stay in advance of an early LAX flight. Shuttle is 24/7 but timing it can be a problem. Walking distance from car rental facility, so ideal to return car the night before early flight. Limited food options in the restaurant, but clean and good if you want to watch a sports game.
