I love this hotel. It’s the only hotel I will stay at when visiting Hermosa Beach for business. Staff is great. Comfortable, fun, and clean room. Great balcony with views.

You really pay for everything. I asked for a late checkout. 12:00 would be $35. Parking $30 while nowhere near the beach. Staff did their job but didn’t engage in any way whatsoever. Rooms are decent and the courtyard is nice. I’ve stayed there many times. But not sure if I will again.

Balcony was dirty. There were dirt clumps in the pool. The hot water was out for the entire hotel for two of the four days during my stay. After several people complained, they offered a $25 credit compensation - Unacceptable. Poor customer service. Will not return.

We stayed at Hotel Hermosa in their unique two-story room with the winding staircase, and overall, it was a great experience. My daughter and niece especially loved the separation of bedrooms—it gave everyone their own space and added a fun, loft-like vibe to the stay. The spiral staircase was definitely a cool feature and added to the room’s character, but it’s worth noting that the metal steps are a bit tricky. It’s easy to bump your head if you’re not careful. Just something to be mindful of. The hotel itself had a relaxed, beachy atmosphere, and the location is close to the Hermosa Beach Pier, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed that the location was very walkable. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth.
