We loved our stay! The house is beautiful with lots of character with many cool areas for the group to hang out together and nooks for people to have their own space. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

No beach vibes. The decor and furniture is extremely dated and not comfortable. The listing said beautiful plants and what we saw were empty pots all were dead. The A/C didn’t work. It was quite disappointing to say the least. Beautiful floor plan but needs some work.

This place was a little bit of a mixed bag. The location is great between the beach and the restaurants and shops on 2nd street. The neighborhood is quiet and nice, too. The house itself has all of the basics that you need and 3 nice outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. The beds were clean and soft, beach supplies, and even a couple of bikes. The basic cleaning, such as counters, floors, linens, showers, etc were good, but the place could use a deeper cleaning. Window sills hadn’t been wiped in a long time, the walls were dirty, and cabinets needed wiped down. Generally speaking, the place is in real need of a refresh with new paint and furniture and maybe even a little more. It is an interesting house that could really be nice with some TLC.Bottom line, I would stay again if my options were limited, but I would definitely check out the other options. If you like spotless and pristine, you would probably not be happy with this house.

Perfect Property

This property truly elevated vacationing to a new level of luxury. From the location to the furnishings to the linens and towels, our stay was exceptional. The property included high end items that were thoughtful and well planned. Every detail was executed with perfection. We appreciated the stocked kitchen which even included staples such as condiments, spices and olive oil. We also benefited from clearly labeled light switches and a binder describing restaurants and entertainment in the area. Some highlights include: walkable distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants; high tech music and TV controlled by iPad; outdoor spaces such as patio with BBQ, master balcony, and rooftop deck; amazing water pressure and shower fixtures. Property managers demonstrated phenomenal communication with responsive, 24/7 customer service. Thank you for a fabulous and flawless vacation. We can’t wait to return.

Nice house in a great neighborhood, but house was dirty and not prepared well for our arrival. There was a ton of mold and no bags in the trash bins, a water purifier container in the fridge had mold floating on it, the toaster had lots of crumbs on top of it, the teapot on the stove had a broken handle which made it unusable, and several light fixture switches were falling off the walls. The manager did respond quickly and was really diligent and conscientious in trying to remedy all this. We love Long Beach and this is a good neighborhood and house. But they really need to get their act together so the house is clean when guests arrive.One other note, the second floor bedroom and den are by far the nicest part of the house. But the stairway up to it is steep and turns and could be a negative for older guests or guests with small children, who could easily fall and hurt themselves on these stairs.

Parents weekend

We had a fabulous time visiting our daughter at CSULB. The house was set up well for us, and we appreciated the sharp knives in the kitchen as we were able to do lots of cooking and not be frustrated by the utensils. The firepit for after dinner was a great way to continue the conversation. I would highly recommend this location and since our daughter is only a freshman I plan to use this space again!

Great Location-…but!

Great location, but there are a number of issues some minor some major. Effectively no A/C upstairs. Late July, needed A/C. Opened windows at night-good air flow but no screens on windows. Mosquitoes! Outdoor areas messy, not cleaned regularly. Many plant pots with soil, but no plants scattered about patio downstairs. Upstairs Primary bath/shower is an accident waiting to happen with extremely slick tile in shower and step out area. No shower mat provided. Dishwasher missing portion of the plate holders so don’t know how more than 2 people could use it effectively. No wine opener provided. No vegetable peeler.

Not as expected

Very bad lighting at the front door. When we walked in the house smells of old and musty . The beds looked like they were hurried on making them up. Upstairs was hot and the stairs are narrow. We did not stay at all and went to a hotel where we know exactly what we were getting. We will not be staying at Vrbo accommodations anymore.

Perfect Location!

This Belmont Shore location is the perfect location for a weekend getaway! Restaurants, beach, biking, shopping, etc. The property was in close proximity to all beach amenities. Large home giving ample room to spread around and be comfortable. Great home for large family gatherings.

Easy access to convention center

Great spot if you’re in town for an event at the Long Beach convention center. Easy access to bikes, groceries and restaurants. Quick cab ride to Long Beach airport. House is well equipped and each bedroom has a private bath. Great for professionals.
