Booked a 3‑night room + free valet parking package at Moxy Downtown Los Angeles through Expedia, and still ended up being charged for parking by the hotel, creating a double‑charge mess that took serious time to untangle. My Expedia confirmation clearly listed free valet parking as an included amenity, and the total for the stay was $822.81 (part paid with One Key Cash, the rest on my Visa), plus a clearly disclosed destination fee payable at the property. The hotel then charged my card again for $535, including parking that was supposed to be included. ​ I spent about an hour in multiple chats with different Expedia agents, uploading screenshots and invoices and waiting while they called the hotel—only to be told first that the extra charges were “destination fees and parking,” and then later that parking had been mistakenly charged and would be refunded. Expedia added some One Key Cash as “compensation,” but that does not fix the fact that the system allowed a parking‑included package to be double‑billed and required this much work from the customer to correct. ​ If you book a “room + parking” deal through Expedia, triple‑check your folio at checkout and your credit card afterwards, because hotel and Expedia systems clearly do not always stay in sync on what is actually included
