The room was very clean, and the Pacific Inn and Suites worked out great prior to embarking on a cruise from LA (San Pedro). The manager was terrific and really helpful, actually very kind. There's not much around in terms of food in walking distance, however, I ate breakfast at the Pacific Diner (just a couple of steps away), and it was local and yummy....they close at 3 pm though. I only felt safe here, but please note this a modernized-older style Inn with outside corridors. You may wish to request a first floor room because there is not an elevator. I will definitely stay again when travels bring me to San Pedro.

Check-in was fantastic! We arrived a little early, but the awesome guy at the front desk worked some magic, did a bit of rearranging, and got us into a room right away. The room itself was great — cozy, spacious, and wonderfully quiet. Exactly what we needed after a long day. Would definitely stay here again!

Bed spread and pillows were stained and/or dirty. Floor had something sticky on it beside the bed. Couch had a stain on it. Overnight accomodations don't need to be fancy, tasteful, or nice to nake me satisfied. But they absolutely must be 100% spotlessly clean and sanitary. This room was neither.
