Sonder The Craftsmen Misleading

The photos for the hotel provided are very misleading. It seems like a nice area but when you arrive it is anything but. When we first got there, we had to park about four minutes away because there was no onsite parking. The website for the Craftsmen offered two locations to park that were a few minutes walk, meanwhile there is closer parking right behind the hotel. The area is very sketchy and unsafe due to many unhoused people and people doing drugs which is why I gave it a low rating especially for no parking being available. Noise level was okay. It was noisy but not enough that you were unable to fall asleep. Hotel was nice but just did not like the shower. The head was too small for a big shower so there was not much coverage.

Room was really nice. I liked that they had security 24/7 and the only way to access the elevators was with a code given to you before check in. It's in a convenient location if you're planning on going to bmo stadium, which was my reason for choosing this hotel. I definitely wouldn't walk around the area alone though. It was also noisy at night, but thay didn't bother me.

What a great stay! The streets are so dirty but the room and hotel are soooo clean! What a great staff and crew! I was also able to use their other property which was a 7 minute walk. They had a yoga room, a gym, a big community rec area and an outdoor terrace on the 5th floor. It was sooooo nice! Highly recommend! They also took care of every single one of my needs as my trip was turned upside down. They held my luggage etc. such sweet staff! Thank you all!

Very easy to find. Very clean! Spacious with good furniture and comfortable beds and bedding. Good appliances, thoughtful separate rapid hot water pot for tea etc. Nice bathroom facilities and amenities. Lots of casual dining options, grocery and pharmacy very close. Noise from outside blocked with ear plugs. They supplied the plugs in the bedrooms. Slept great.
