Loved it here, the hotel itself was very nicely decorated. There was plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Its also located close to a CVS and walgreens in case you forgot something. All the staff, from front desk, bar and kitchen were all super nice. Only 13 min from the cruise port. Will def stay here again.

Someone in my party returned to their room to find the room slightly ajar and the safe open and light on. No housekeeping was requested. When we asked the front desk to support us they we're dismissive and unhelpful refusing to look at security footage when asked. It felt unsafe and the pain opted to leave and end their stay. Very disappointed in the stay overall. Would avoid in the future.

Pool and outdoor seating is very nice. Restaurant/bar had very slow service and drinks and food took forever as one person taking orders, making drinks and cooking. It was too busy to have one staff working. Food was just ok. Rooms were just ok too. Spacious, clean but dark.

I recently stayed at The Cove Hotel in Long Beach, and overall, I had a good experience. The hotel itself is beautiful—clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect from a quality stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any requests. The only downside is the surrounding neighborhood, which isn’t the most inviting. While I didn’t encounter any major issues, it’s worth noting that the area can feel a little sketchy, especially at night. If you’re planning to explore, I’d recommend using a car or rideshare rather than walking around too much. That being said, once inside the hotel, you feel completely safe and well taken care of. If you’re looking for a great place to stay pre cruise in Long Beach and don’t mind the surroundings, The Cove Hotel is a solid choice!

Pick this place, you won’t regret it!!!

We needed to stay on Long Beach for the night as we were taking a cruise the next day. After several searches for a hotel within close proximity of the port at a decent rate, I decided to pick the Cove. Everything was perfect! Friendly service, clean, and the food and drinks were excellent! I wish it wasn’t so cold and rainy that day as we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor games but I definitely plan to come back and stay again! Highly recommend!!
