I got to the property earlier than check-in on purpose because I was meeting friends who were also staying at the property. I arrived a little before 2pm and went straight to the front desk to let them know I had arrived and asked to be let up to the roof to wait with friends until my room was ready. My room wasn't ready until almost 4:40pm, which meant I didn't even have time to shower and get ready before our 5:30 dinner reservation, which I found totally unacceptable when the check in time is supposed to be at 3pm. Very disappointing and inconvenient.

Chic Hotel with Potential

The hotel is stylish and well-presented, and I appreciated being pleasantly upgraded to a studio suite, which was a lovely touch. That said, I would strongly advise against staying on the 10th floor unless you’re prepared to be kept awake by loud music from the rooftop. It goes on past 2am and isn’t limited to weekends, which made it very difficult to rest. I also had a frustrating experience when simply trying to get hot water to take medication. The first kettle they sent was dirty and gave off a terrible smell when boiling. When I requested cups of hot water instead, I was told room service was “busy.” To make matters worse, maintenance was sent to check the shower instead, which was not what I needed. Eventually, a new kettle was provided—brand new and very clean—which I did appreciate, but it should not have been this difficult to resolve such a basic request. Overall, while the hotel has style and potential, the combination of rooftop noise and poor service around simple needs left me disappointed. On a positive note, Bridget was fantastic—a warm, friendly presence who always greeted me by name and really stood out.

Nice hotel. Love the location. View from my room was awesome! Be aware of added fees, valet fee is pricey, and there was some other hotel fee of $35 per day that I was unaware of. Staff at rooftop breakfast was very nice. Pool area is a vibe. I’d probably stay again.

Amazing Hollywood visit

We asked the front desk for three different things, and none of them came, even asking twice in one case. We asked for towels we asked for a desk or some sort of surface to work on twice they implied that they would do it immediately. They were very polite at the front desk, but zero follow-through.

The individual room was excellent, but the hotel was noisy until the bar area closed around 2am. The staff was wonderful. The area around the hotel was not safe. I know the hotel can’t do much about that, but parking should be included with the room to avoid offsite parking issues. The rooftop pool was fun. We would stay again.
