The food is horrible. Flies and insects all over the food. The cooks could not keep up with making the food. The room AC was not cold it just felt like it was misting water. The room was humid with mold in their wall pictures. Our belongings all felt wet. Overall I would not recommend especially if traveling with children.

The rooms were amazing, the staff was incredible! Such a fun atmosphere, kid friendly but also lots of party environment as well. Close to the beach, felt very safe on the property. Food was good! They say restaurants are first come first serve but you end up putting your name on a list so go early if you want to eat somewhere specific. Overall amazing resort and we will definitely go back.

Vendors made the beach uncomfortable. Alot of them begging you to buy back to back to back. They hotel does not keep them from the area. The harassment is unbearable!!!! They stand infront of your view asking a million times so your foced to be at the pool area with the music and kids.

If you stay at any of the RIU properties...USE THEIR APP! We were confused as to what was open and what was closed the first day until my wife started using the app......made everything a hundred times better! If you are looking for a sign to stay at the Santa Fe ...here it is! Just do it...we were unsure if it would suit us 50ish year olds, and the resort absolutely nailed it!

Rooms clean. Mattresses bad. Medano beach, Excellent! Pools great with Plenty of space to swim and rough horse around with the kids. Could always find lounge chairs. Water parks, fun! Food for picky eaters all day. Always available: pizza, burgers, hot dogs, tacos. My kids are pretty picky. I enjoy good food but don’t care to spend a ton of money when traveling with my kids bc it’s wasted on them. The Mexican food at the resort was decent. The “restaurants” we were not impressed by, but we stuck to the buffets for the most part. - Drinks were plentiful both non- alcoholic and alcoholic. I actually liked that the alcoholic beverages were NOT strong. - Entertainment. There was something for everyone. My husband and I went to one of the “Riu party” foam pool parties while grandparents hung out with kids. 18 and over only entry. The jungle themed party started at 2:30 PM and went to 11. We were there 4:30-6:30 and had a blast. The campus is pretty big but these parties are loud and it would have sucked if our building was right next to this but thankfully ours wasn’t. Though you could still hear the bass bumping in our rooms other nights, it was tolerable.

This was my first time visiting Cabo, and I can be a bit picky, so I was initially hesitant about booking an all-inclusive stay. However, from the moment I arrived, I was genuinely impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the pool and beach areas were beautiful with easy access. I also appreciated the overall sense of safety throughout the property. This resort exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning—annually.
