So close to Baxter and Bardstown restaurants and nightlife. Excellent bakery and cafe around the corner, we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. A dog park and a dog park bar are close by if you bring your fur kid. We absolutely loved this VRBO.
Pet friendly, fenced in yard. Loved the garage for parking. Super comfortable bed and great shower! Loved the special touches! Easy from start to finish! Highly recommend!
We spent a very comfortable two nights here. The king bedroom was great with nice bedding and a thick mattress topper. The garage parking was very convenient, the living space was clean and comfortable. Thank you for being dog friendly, we very much enjoyed being able to have our dog along for our stay. Check in was smooth and easy.
Lovely property in a great neighborhood - walk to bars and restaurants!! Bonus fantastic bakery just around the corner! Chris was very responsive and made sure our stay was perfect. Directions and check-in were clear and easy to follow. I would recommend Chrisâ property to anyone looking for a nicely-equipped centrally located vacation rental. PS: thereâs a garage!!
This is a really great place. It did smell a bit, but I'm guessing it's because they allow pets. I burned the candle provided and it was no big deal. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was very secure with lockboxes. My only issue was there really is no front door, so when I ordered an Instacart, they left it at a storefront around the block and I had to try to track it down by photo at night. Luckily I had my dog and it seems to be a safe neighborhood.
Everything was great. Plenty of supplies available. Very nice downtown Louisville location. We walked around and shopped and ate nearby. Very welcoming.
Our stay was excellent, except for the interruption of our truck being broken into in the church parking lot across the street. Absalutely nothing to do with the accomidations. It is a very charming little retreat and having the added security of the garage for our classic muscle car was perfect.
The apartment was very cute and close to a lot of activities! It was also clean and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to all my questions. Great place!
Perfect place for my daughter and I during our stay. Loved having the garage to park in, beds were comfortable, and there was everything else we needed. Also took advantage of the bikes to explore the area.
We love this property! The house is so nice with great decor! The host is super friendly and helpful. We loved the location and being able to walk to shop and have dinners each night.
Enjoyed our stay! It was a little tricky trying to get into the home, as there were 6 trash cans blocking the entrance upon arrival, but after moving them about we were able to unpack and enjoy our stay. It was great how walkable the restaurants were and appreciated how welcoming many were of our pup. We took the bikes into Louisville and enjoyed seeing the distilleries. If you are going to do the same, I would bring a bike lock from home, since the neighborhoods definitely had some challenges with homeless roaming about. Overall the home met our needs and we really appreciated the quick responsiveness of the host, when needed. The courtyard could use some love, but it was still really nice to have with our dog in tow. Overall had a really good experience.
Being from the exurbs, the neighborhood took a minute to settle into. But the property proved to be quiet, comfortable, and clean. It was convenient to the fairgrounds, downtown, and some cool restaurants nearby. Overall, it was a good fit for our trip.
We enjoyed our stay. It is quaint, cozy and peaceful. Its in a private, tucked away area in walking distance to some of Louisville's best restaurants, bars and shops. It was great to have the garage and small outdoor area too.
The property worked us for but would not have worked for the 6 people it was listed for. The yard was not private. We could have used a cutting board and some dish towels. The neighborhood was fine for dog walks and we were close to U of L which we needed.
Everything was wonderful! The kids loved having their own TVs on each bunk bed. Beds were super comfortable, had everything we needed, highly recommend checking out the restaurant's in highland! The record player was a hit as my kids have never seen one before! Now my daughter wants one for her birthday! There is a great record shop nearby! It was so nice to be able to travel and spend time as a family with our dog!
We had a great stay with our dog within walking distance to shops and restaurants and Old Forester Paristown Hall where we attended a concert. Space was cute and clean and well appointed for dog owners! Love the horse mural and pics throughout while the record display is perfect for my vinyl collecting husband
