We had a fabulous vacation while staying at the Villa. Pictures are quite accurate. Very clean, quite location, loved watching the marine traffic and planes from our private patio. So many features you dont find at some places. Ability to regulate temperature in each bedroom and living areas, out door shower, three bathrooms, and private poll. Shopping near by and French section just a short drive away.hope to return soon!

Our 2nd visit to this villa was as awesome as the first. Prompt communication with John ahead of time. Stacy met us when we arrived. This centrally located place is clean and modern with pretty much everything you could ask for. The balcony and plunge pool area are terrific, and an ideal place to just sit and take in the view and listen to the waves. The kitchen is small but has most things you will need (there were no spices other than salt and pepper, no coffee filters, oil, etc,). The beach is literally 20 steps away and the Sapphire Beach Club pool is just up the steps in front of the villa. Porto Cupecoy and its Carrefour grocery store and several restaurants are a 5 minute drive away, or walk if you prefer. Other restaurants and another Carrefour are a short walk in the other direction. Mullet Bay is walkable too. Maho and Marigot are short drives by car. The villa is very private and everything worked well. We will definitely be back.

Amazing property and location directly on the beach!

We sometimes preferred to stay at the villa and enjoy our private pool on the balcony. We could swim right in front, only steps to the water and a beautiful small beach. We were often the only people on the beach! A few things in the unit need some maintenance but other than that, the place was very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time in Don't Maarten! We would definitely return again!

Million dollar view

The view is outstanding from both the main balcony and from both master bedrooms. The plunge pool is a nice to have with a view of the ocean. The location is great to shopping and restaurants. The negative is the place is very run down and need of some major updating and repairs. The villa is located at the Sapphire Beach Club which is a 3-start resort. This use to be the property to stay at but no longer is well kept. Here are a few issues we ran into with the villa. We were given one key for the villa. I had to wait 3 days to get a second key which was a major hassle for a group of four. We didn't have hot water when we got there. The property manager did resolve that issue quickly. The ice maker was turned off. We turned it on, and it leaked all over the floor. The property manager was aware of the issue and turned it off and brought us 2 bags of ice. The shower didn't drain so you stood in a few inches of water as you showered. The wood deck as you enter the property is rotting out and a hazard. Overall, both the villa and resort need to be updated. I travel to the Caribbean once or twice a year. I stayed at Fourteen which is a short walk from this place. That place is new and much nicer but doesn't have the outstanding views like this place. I'm not sure if I would stay here again or not. It has potential but needs some care.

Sonrisa 7 is lovely

Our lodging was great. The property was clean and secure and the view of the water was amazing. Our host responded quickly to a problem with our coffee maker. The kitchen is small but functional and the beds were super comfortable. No instructions were left about how to close out at the end of our stay but we left all kitchen items clean. Loved sharing food with the sweet neighborhood cats.

Great 25th Anniversary Vacation

Beautiful property with great view!

We enjoyed staying at this property and are already trying to figure out when we can go back. The property is in an area near Maho/Simpson Bay Beach, restaurants, grocery store, casino, shops, etc. Stacey and John were fabulous in answering our questions and providing any information we needed. Stacey met us when we arrived to walk through the condo with us and even provided us with snacks and drinks the first day. Looking forward to returning to St. Maarten and booking this property again for our next trip!

St Maarten Trip

All in all a very nice place on the island. View from condo was magnificent with nice beach area lots to do in the area including casinos, restaurants and beautiful Mullet Bay Beach. I suggest seeing different beaches. One of our favorites being Fryers Bay Beach just a short distance away. Private pool on the patio was a great added touch for a late night/early morning swim. Would definitely stay at Sonrise 7 again

Another Awesome Trip to St. Maarten!

My wife and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary in St. Maarten April 6-13. This was our second trip to the island and second time staying at a Villa at Sapphire Beach Club. We had another wonderful experience! The Villa was very comfortable, nicely furnished, and the unobstructed view has to be one of the best, if not the best, on the island. The private plunge pool is an awesome amenity and while we did spend a good deal of time exploring the island, we spent a lot of time on the private deck area of the Villa. Previously, we stayed at Villa 10 and this time Villa 7. Both are almost identical, but decorated and furnished slightly differently. To be honest, we love them both and plan to return again next year. Highly recommended location and property!

Beautiful villa

Villa is exactly as depicted in photos. Pool deck is directly above the crashing surf. It is a lovely vacation villa. If you plan to cook any meals , the kitchen is as pictured. Only one can cook at a time. Pack everything or purchase everything, as the kitchen is what I describe as “completely clean” meaning, only salt and pepper are provided. No remains from prior tenants, no spice rack, etc. pack plastic wrap or foil as well if you tend to have leftovers, as there are no Tupperware type items or wraps/foils either. to our delight, the villa was stocked with portable beach chairs, which we used daily at the various beaches around the island. The beach at the villa was under water the entire week we were there, so while lovely to look at from the pool deck, it was not a swimming beach or even a lounging beach. I thought the check in process to be unnecessarily challenging, for future vacationers, go to the Sapphire beach resort, park in the front, go into the lobby, use WhatsApp to contact the concierge using the SBR free WiFi, and then go get a drink at the bar while waiting for her to arrive. We thought we were to meet her at the villa itself, so we got a parking card from the front desk, found the parking spot and waited on the front stoop, while she was looking for us in the lobby, so it was a comedy of errors, not knowing precisely WHERE we were supposed to meet. Great location as well, walking distance to several restaurants and a couple of markets.

St Maarten Birthday Getaway!

I booked this for my wife’s 60 birthday with friends. So it had to be perfect and this property far exceeded our expectations. The listing was better,if possible, than the pictures. It was fantastic to listen to the waves all night right outside your bedroom and the views were unbelievable and you are a 1 minute walk to the beach! We will be back! Thank you

Enjoyable Condo in Cupecoy

The property was very nice and just as described. The pictures are 100% accurate. We loved the view and the privacy. The private pool on the deck was wonderful and we never used the Sapphire Beach Resort pool above. We felt the location allowed us to stay out of the hustle of more "in town" locations while still having easy access to the island. We would recommend a rental car to enjoy the area and island. The unit itself was very nice. The A/C work very well at keeping the unit cool, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were huge, and you can’t beat the sound of the breaking waves to sleep. We found the condo adequately stocked but not to the level of other units we have recently rented however that might be a cultural / island difference. The only minor concern we had was lack of communication by the property manager and Stacey. We had to follow-up with them on both the check-in & check-out processes and, while we enjoyed the maid service, we would have liked to have been told as to what days they would be cleaning the unit. With our past VRBO rentals, this information was proactively provided.

The property was absolutely beautiful!! It was spotless. The location is convenient to restaurants, grocery store, beaches and airport. The pictures online are an 100% representation of what you will encounter. My interaction with Stacey, the concierge was responsive, timely and helpful. I booked an excursion, chef services for 3 meals and rental car per Stacey's recommendations and all were spot on. My son and I had a wonderful vacation from start to finish!!!

The property was excellent and just as described. We loved the view and the privacy.
