Cutely decorated. I liked the lamps!
Our only complaint was the âcontinental breakfastâ was nothing like that word. It was the basic muffins, donuts (and packaged sweet stuff) that we are not used to for breakfast. There were oranges and some grapes that were frozen. continental breakfast makes me think of some eggs or warm waffles at the least. So thatâs the reason we give 4 stars. Suggestion: just say breakfast provided no need to say continental breakfast and misguide people who might like to book for the breakfast.
Other than this, the place is in a lovely location with a calm river flowing in the back which we really enjoyed.
Gorgeous garden with a swing by the river where I sat until a large turtle splashed to get my attention before letting go to be taken downstream. The breakfast is simple with baked goods, OJ, coffee, but it's served in a very pretty room. Lots of DVDs so we found one that looked interesting. The room was small but clean and neat, nicely decorated. We had a sofa that was VERY soft but fine. We would stay here again, it's a pretty location and Debbie is as charming as could be.
Loved the room, the cleanliness, roominess, comfortable bed, nicely decorated room and outside
Didn't like the thin walls between rooms. You will definitely hear your neighbors. Also would be nice to have a fridge and microwave.
Overall perfect room. Just needs better soundproofing between rooms
Extremely clean, cozy, and comfortable! I felt right at home. The Red Moose Lodge was a highlight of my trip. The swing by the river was wonderful, as was being around all the trees. So glad I stayed here and hope to again!
A delightful little lodge that is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and really one of the cleanest places we have stayed. The lodge really made the trip. Owners are attentive and the grounds are just a great place to relax. There are lots of outdoor activities and the town is really chill and easy to navigate. If they continue to have events at the Cannabash location you might want to reconsider. We didn't feel the town was as excited about this event as the promoters blasted. It's unfair to make places host events they don't feel fits into their community values whether it's legal or not.
