Great relaxing family hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the service at the hotel was absolutely fantastic, making us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay. The property itself was spacious and beautifully lush, offering a serene escape from the bustle of everyday life. The pools were stunning—perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Each morning, the breakfast buffet impressed us with its wide variety of tasty options catering to all dietary needs. And every evening, we eagerly anticipated the dinner buffet, which was the perfect companion to breathtaking sunsets over the Nile. Truly a great place to stay.

I was nervous about choosing this hotel based on some reviews (of being cut off and a bit out of the way from the attractions) but we had an excellent experience- nothing was far away and I cannot recommend this place enough. It is a safe haven in what is otherwise a very hectic environment of Luxor town (east bank) where we were constantly swamped by taxi drivers and people trying to sell you something in the centre of town. We felt really safe in Jolie Ville because there is security at the entry gate and once you drive in through the expansive gardens to Reception, you aren’t bothered at all. A buggy then drives you to your room.Rooms are spacious, the ones with Nile view are amazing to watch the sun setting. Great balcony. The winner is the peaceful, lush grounds full of beautiful flowers, trees and exotic birds. You have 3 pools and you’re right on the Nile bank. The view is therefore amazing. 4 restaurants, the food was good, a great spa, we had excellent massages, hair and nail salon and daily activities plus afternoon tea on a boat on the Nile. This was my second stay, and we had a fantastic time. I thought I had booked a larger room, and was a bit disappointed when I arrived. Spoke with the manager and he was kind enough to take time out of his day to accommodate us and get us upgraded to a much larger room (for a fare difference). Everyone is always super helpful and nice to guests. This is somewhere that everyone should get to enjoy if and when they find themselves in southern Egypt. Especially families!

Beautiful

Amazing attention to detail. The room was immense, immaculate and so comfortable. The bathroom was awash with free goodies and slippers. Room was clean and very well presented. The air con worked and was quiet. The lighting both bright and dim to cover every eventuality. The polls are spotless and the attendant are happy to help and are pleasant and polite. An array of restaurants available to choose from. The grounds were immaculately and so clean. They an actively fight mosquito’s every evening. The staff are super friendly and will go out of their way to help. I hope to visit again soon

Not transparent with pricing for activities at the resort. Called originally and quoted 130 Egypt pounds per person for sail boat and then once downstairs at lobby was $ 12 usd per person . The tea and soda on the boat was twice as much of boat . Had hotel arrange car to airport and banged up car from 1970s with carpet on seats . Barely made it to the airport . The last item of frustration was paid for breakfast buffet but had to catch an early tour and wanted to take one croissant and banana for my son and lead restaurant person accused my of trying just to take the stuff . He eventually apologized once I told him I am here with large party and already spent hundreds of usd at dinners and etc and I have a breakfast included with my stay . All in like 2.5 star US hotel which needs to improve on their hospitality to make to a solid 3 stars

Our room was really spacious!! Could have been handicap accessible because it had that much space!! Staff was super friendly, welcoming and attentive! The property is huge, so you are able to call for a cart to come pick you up! We ate at the Asian restaurant which was okay! Lobby is always busy but I would say the grounds are pretty quiet. The pool with slide obviously attracts more kids than the one located closer to the lobby. You will need an outlet adapter. The hotel does have some but we weren't able to get them to work. Pro Tip* the outlet in the bathroom under the hair dryer works with a normal US plug (wink)

Beautiful resort for some peace and tranquility. Pools were so relaxing, food was delicious. Views are spectacular and breathtaking. I stayed with my family two adults and two teens. Almost want to keep this place a secret so it doesn’t get overrun. Try their ice creams everyday, book a felluca ride early on. check the activity board for daily activities (fishing on the nile). Other guests are so respectful limiting noise, everyone picks up after themselves, greeting each other. Staff are respectful and friendly.

One of the best holiday we have had so far! I know may people have commented on how beautiful the grounds of this property is, but i need to reiterate that is wonderfully gorgeous. The staff could not do enough to ensure our comfort, they were so courteous, warm and welcoming. I travelled with my teenagers and we had a fantastic few days. It is a beautiful area with convenience to dining, fitness, and swimming areas. Our group love the atmosphere and the services. The rooms are very spacious housekeeping does an excellent job. Highly recommend staying here.

A fantastic location right on the Nile. Beautiful gardens. The property is showing its age, furnishings are old, the decor showing its age. Staff are terrific and are happy to help if you need them. Definitely would stsy again.
