Very convenient hotel for sightseeing and restaurant nightlife. Lovely, smart, efficient, helpful staff. Small but nothing lacking room, big bed for a single, very clean feel and look. Only two small downsides 1) there seemed so be something lacking in part of the flooring which was covered by carpet ....felt like there was either rot in boards or indeed a hole. 2) great shower but bad design ... Very full flow from large shower head but drain could not cope with the amount of water and there was no lip on the shower tray so the water was not sealed within the shower and spilled to a level of an inch or two on bathroom floor. Problem efficiently dealt with.
If I ever visit Lyon again, and I would like to - wonderful , surprising city, I would stay here.

Excellent location, close to the old town
Pros:Having a fridge and very friendly staff.
Cons:The bathrooms in our room was a bit dated - we had a very large sink in our room which was far too big for the size of the bathroom.
Location:Excellent location, all attractions and many restaurants all walking distance from the hotel
The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the old town, shopping and many restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is a bit small which means it can be a bit of a tight squeeze if there are a few guests having breakfast. There is not a huge choice in the buffet breakfast but all food is freshly put out and of good quality, and is reasonable value for the 13.50 euros. The rooms are comfortable but not particularly modern. A bonus is having a fridge in the room, also the hotel provides two free bottles of water a day which proved a life saver for us as the temperature was 34c on the three days we visited in June. Lyon is a very beautiful city and well worth a visit.

Location:Central for tourism
Just minutes away from all the venues that a tourist wishes to see.
Close to theatre square, restaurants,bars within close proximity.large
