We had a fantastic staycation from Dallas! Home was clean location was great Hot Tub and games were a huge bonus! Host did a fantastic job communicating with us before during and after stay! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a newer property on a large lot!

Fantastic spring break getaway!

The house was wonderful. We had an absolute blast over the long weekend. There was a lot of thought put into the amenities included inside and outside. We caught about a dozen catfish and 1 small bass right from the dock.

Great Stay Except No Lake

We really enjoyed our stay here! Communication was wonderful, and the house itself had everything we needed. We appreciated all of the additional activities it offers, including volleyball, ping pong, spike ball, a hot tub, and card/board games. However, I’ve subtracted a star because we were unable to use the lake like we expected to. The water was extremely extremely shallow, all the way to the end of the cove in which the house resides. Therefore, we didn’t swim in the lake whatsoever, even though that was our main reason for booking the trip. This was very frustrating and a huge bummer, as our number one goal of the vacation was to be on a (swimmable) lake, and that’s exactly why we chose this specific Vrbo. I feel as though it was misleading for the low lake levels not to be communicated—the water throughout the cove only reached our knees. We still had a great time, but it was very different than we had imagined and what we were hoping for! I would definitely stay here again if the lake were higher!

Summer lake house.

The host was great. The location was good as well. Kayaks and paddle boats were a lot of fun. Water around the dock was about 3-4 feet deep and a little warm in places. Would recommend renting the pontoon boat. Overall great experience would stay again.

A new & pretty lakefront property with lots to do!!!

We have been renting at Cedar Creek for years and rent multiple times each summer. This property was a brand new build and pretty with a nice two story dock, hot tub, and a garage with darts, spike-ball, and ping pong. We brought two jet skis and tied them up to the dock. Kayaks were provided with property and were great to use exploring down the finger. We took the jet skis out to main lake for tubing. Late afternoon we played volleyball in the shade. At night when mosquitos were out we used the garage for ping pong and spike ball. The only con for us with this property was the shallow water on this finger of the lake as we are all big swimmers. But we floated on rafts and went just out about 7 homes or so to the open water for water sports. The property managers were great too. A kayak paddle broke and they were out with a new one on the same day! Lovely lake house with 4 bedrooms and a kitchen / living room with big windows facing the lake. We had a fun week.

Memorial Stay

I needed a place to stay for myself and family to attend my father’s Memorial service. It was a great surprise and delight in this house. The little ones loved it. They have so much fun toys/equipment for kids!!! And grown ups enjoyed hanging out on the upper deck of dock. I highly recommend this house! I wish we had more time to spend at the house.

06/02/23. Beautiful home. Good and Bad

First, I would like to start off about booking the property, everything was five stars, everything went very well, here are some things that you need to know I will start off with a positives 1. Beautiful home, everything well taken care of, comfortable bed, everything extremely clean and home. 2. Very easy access to town to get groceries and dining, only about a mile away. 3. Plenty of games, Firewood, very nice grill, kayaking. Things that we did not like 1. In the pictures, we assumed that we were overlooking Cedar Creek Lake, we did not like the fact we were in a small cul-de-sac on the outskirts of the lake, which we faced trailer, houses all around us. 2. Cameras at the house, we did not like the fact of being watched on cameras. 3. very heavy mud, slide hill right off the back patio, very muddy, the sprinklers were running at 6 o’clock in the morning for about an hour, causing mud everywhere every day. 4. Location of a home in the neighborhood, the home is new, but the community is run-down trailers everywhere. Overall, we had a great time there, I’m only mentioned these items because I think people need to be aware, and hopefully things can be changed in the future Thank you very much

Beautiful home right on the lane

The house was beautiful, and very nicely appointed. Spotlessly clean. This would be a great spot for a couple or family getaway. Accommodations are very comfortable. We were only there for one night and it was rainy so we didn’t get to use outdoor amenities but there is a hot tub, fire pit, grill and a beautiful two story dock. I would have loved to have a glass of wine out on the top deck of the dock. Our only suggestion would be to provide a bit more privacy for patio sitting. The house next door had a few people on their patio and it felt a little awkward to be out on ours.

Great stay!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the property. Enjoyed coffee on the deck (even though the water low this time of year), cooking meals in the kitchen, beds were comfy, decoration and attention to detail was very welcoming, welcome kit to make s’mores was a great touch for our night at the fire pit and all in all a great stay. Hot tub wasn’t quite warm enough for our liking but I received quick responses from the host on the matter and I’m sure they will investigate the problem for future guests! Would stay here again!
