Our 1st stay in the caravan the year before we new was a dated caravan but was very clean and tidy, this stay not so good had done updates on the flooring but had left nails on the floor which my dog and elderly parents could of stepped on(found 3) the updates in the bathroom was quite laughable as it just looked so bad, such a shame as looked better just been a dated caravan
The property was ok a number window where missing locks to open and close windows. The two front jacks wasn't down witch made the mobile to rock .a little outdated but for weekend use with pet dog was ok
Absolutely Ideal :). Great van and so close to amenities and the beach which my Dog absolutely loves. Thanks for having us and Iâm sure we will be back
Caravan was very nice to stay in we had a problem with gas fire which was sorted out very quickly by owners only other thing i can
say is there's no lock on bathroom door
Great caravan on a nice quiet site. Good for dogs. Older caravan but perfect for what we wanted. Everything worked so no complaints. Have stayed in sister caravan on this site previously. Site has its on clubhouse that serve nice food and drinks and of course are very dog friendly. Close to beach and walk in to Mablethorpe. Would stay again.
Having seen some mixed reviews of this caravan we were unsure whether the negatives would have been addressed (all reviews were last year). Also the booking stated that bedding & wiFi were chargeable as extra. The hosts answered our queries very promptly & neither carried extra costs.
The caravan itself needs a bit of TLC (tender loving care). The seating has caps missing (from the tops of the decorative buttons) so they are a little uncomfortable to sit on. The table has sharp edges where the edging is worn & the shower drain (especially) is very slow & the risk of flooding was slightly worrying. The TV reception was dreadful although Netflix & YouTube were great!
One of the saucepans was burnt & the coating of another would come off in the food...thankfully we didn't cook much. The microwave was good but unfortunately there were no utensils to use in it....
On the plus side, the fire in the van was great (we had a few gales!) and there were two electric heaters if you needed them too. The water was always piping hot & the shower was great (very small space but powerful - a small shelf in the bathroom would be useful too).
Beds were comfortable enough in confined spaces. Plenty hanging space in wardrobes & lots of mirrors. The campsite pub Cedars was great, cracking food & big portions. No entertainment in September but there is a games room for pool & table football etc. Very friendly welcome.
So all in all for the price, I'd say you could do a lot worse.Loved the beaches!
Lovely van , spacious...only thing I would suggest would be single beds needs new mattresses as they are very uncomfortable feel springs so had to put a spare quilt on top of mattress , also window in big bedroom when closed there is a gap at bottom can see outside so drafty and cold when sleeping.
